For a used machine, confirm its condition, included accessories and exact model details before buying.
What is the Singer Curvy?
“Singer Curvy” is the buyer’s model name for the Singer 8763. Singer’s parts list also identifies factory model numbers 76360 and 763S0. Because parts compatibility can depend on the machine’s serial number, check the model and serial details on the specific machine before ordering replacements. The available documentation is older: Singer’s product sheet is dated 03/09, and the parts list was issued in November 2007 and revised through April 2008. It documents features, not current retail availability, pricing or present-day parts stock.

The feature list suggests a machine intended to offer several stitch options and assisted setup, but it does not establish how consistently the machine sews or how easy its mechanisms are to use. Those are questions to assess on the individual unit, especially when considering a used machine.
Can it sew cuffs and sleeves?
Yes. The manual describes removing the extension table to expose a slim free arm. It names cuffs, trouser legs, children’s clothes and other awkward areas as examples of work suited to that configuration. With the extension table attached, the machine has a flat-bed work surface. That list describes the specified accessories, not what comes with every used machine. Ask the seller to show the actual accessories included with the unit and check that the feet and small parts you need are present.

What bobbins and parts fit the Singer Curvy?
A retailer’s model-specific 8763 parts listing specifies Class 15J bobbins. Before buying Class 15J sewing machine bobbins, check the listing against the machine’s model and serial information. The parts documentation specifically advises checking the serial number when ordering parts. It does not establish a particular bobbin brand as best or confirm current stock.
The product sheet includes needles among the accessories, but the available documentation here does not establish one needle size for every fabric or project.
