That makes it an interesting chair to consider, not an automatic upgrade: the shape may feel supportive to some people and intrusive to others, and manufacturer descriptions do not establish a medical benefit. It is worth considering if its dimensions suit you and you can try it under a clear return policy; if you cannot, the unusual lumbar wings are a reason to be cautious.
What is different about the S100’s lumbar support?
Sihoo describes the S100’s lumbar mechanism as two independent pieces intended to adjust to posture and movement. The split support is the main distinction from a conventional single-piece support. A statement reproduced on Sihoo’s product page and attributed there to GameRant reviewer Adam Corsetti says: “The most noticeable aspect of the S100 is its split lower lumbar support, which flexes along with body movements.” This is a quoted description, not evidence that the design works better for every user.
The mechanism’s unusual shape is also its principal fit risk. The support wings project from the backrest, and individual Reddit users have described discomfort, feeling pushed into an arch, or not fitting well between the wings. Other user accounts and reviews hosted by Sihoo are positive. These are self-selected accounts, not a measure of how often the chair suits or bothers its owners.
Sihoo also advertises BIFMA and SGS certification claims on its product page, but the page reviewed does not provide the documents or scope needed to assess those claims further. Neither the manufacturer material nor the cited independent roundup establishes that the S100 prevents or treats back pain. Comfort and fit should not be confused with a clinical result.

The following figures and fit guidance are manufacturer-stated specifications on Sihoo’s US product page; they are not independent measurements. Dimensions are useful for screening a possible fit, but they cannot predict how the lumbar wings or backrest will feel.

How does the S100 compare with the Sihoo C300?
Sihoo’s product page characterizes the S100 as having dual-piece lumbar support and the C300 as having a single-piece support. The same page lists maximum recline of up to 135 degrees for the S100 and up to 112 degrees for the C300.

Who should consider the S100—and who should be cautious?
It may be worth trying if
- You want adjustable seat depth, headrest and upper-back positioning, coordinated armrests, and a recline range Sihoo lists up to 135 degrees.
- The stated seat dimensions, hip width and height guidance appear compatible with your body and workspace.
- You can test the split lumbar support and have a clearly confirmed return option if it does not suit you.
Be cautious if
- You already know that projecting or divided lumbar supports feel uncomfortable against your back.
- You need a chair whose fit has been established for your particular body, or you cannot try it and cannot confirm the seller’s return terms.
- You are considering it as a treatment for back pain. The cited product material does not substantiate a medical benefit.
Before ordering, compare your available space and fit needs with the listed dimensions, then verify the current terms for the region and seller from which you plan to buy. A stated maximum load is a limit, not a guarantee of fit or comfort.

On October 8, 2026, Sihoo’s US product page listed the S100 at $299.99, reduced from $499.99, and showed the black option as sold out. These are a dated US listing snapshot, not a promise of current price or stock. The page advertised free shipping in the US and Canada with an estimated 5–7-day arrival, but that seller claim can change and should be checked at checkout.

The S100 is most compelling for someone who wants its particular split-support design and can check the fit before committing. Its seat-depth, upper-back and headrest adjustments, coordinated armrests, and recline broaden the reasons to consider it, but they do not remove the central uncertainty: the lumbar wings suit some people and bother others. If you cannot try the chair, a dependable, confirmed return policy matters more than the novelty of the mechanism.
