“10×10” describes a footprint, not the quality or construction of the shelter. The listed examples range from steel frames to an aluminum hex frame, while tops are described as polyester, PU-coated polyester, or CPAI-84-compliant fabric. Those terms are not a substitute for checking the exact model’s documentation: verify the top material, stated sun protection, water-resistance claims, and the frame construction on the current manufacturer listing.
For example, Ergodyne’s SHAX 6010 manufacturer page specifies 210D polyester with PU coating and UV treatment and says it complies with CPAI-84; that page also marks the model discontinued. The 2014 Celina Fast Shade manual describes a different 10-by-10-foot model with 500-denier polyester, water repellency, and UV resistance. Anchor the canopy for the surface and follow its manual
Canopy anchoring is a safety-critical part of setup, not an optional add-on.
