Start with the cleanup you actually need to do, then weigh power source, handling and runtime alongside airspeed and air volume. Neither mph nor cfm alone tells you how well a blower will move wet leaves, clear debris from a bed or feel during a longer session.

- Small area near an outlet: A light corded blower can avoid battery runtime limits, but you’ll need suitable outdoor-rated extension-cord reach and should follow the blower manual’s requirements.
- Mobility without a cord: Battery models are convenient away from outlets, but runtime depends on settings and use. Check whether the battery and charger are included, and whether batteries are compatible with tools you already own.
