Baluchon’s Piccola Casa is a 6 m (19.6 ft) towable tiny home that pairs cedar and black aluminum cladding with a compact, carefully arranged interior. A 2022 New Atlas feature describes a living room, kitchen, loft bedroom and bathroom within the double-axle-trailer home.
Exterior design and size
New Atlas reported on June 15, 2022, that the French builder Baluchon made Piccola Casa—translated in the feature as “Small House”—6 m (19.6 ft) long. It sits on a double-axle trailer, with cedar and black aluminum on the exterior. The bedroom volume projects slightly at the rear, giving the small structure a distinct shape.
Generous glazing brings daylight into the living room. The feature is descriptive rather than a current manufacturer specification sheet, so it does not establish the home’s height, width, weight, insulation, or towing requirements.
How the interior is arranged
The layout places the living room and kitchen near one another, with the bathroom at the opposite end. The sleeping area is in a low-ceiling loft, reached by stairs that incorporate storage.

Power and reported use
New Atlas said the home uses a standard RV-style electrical hookup and reported that its owner used it as a primary residence in Normandy, Northern France. Those are statements in the June 2022 feature; it does not specify voltage, amperage, connector type or regional electrical requirements, nor does it establish the owner’s current living arrangements.

The feature did not give Piccola Casa’s actual price. It said Baluchon tiny houses typically started at €80,000 (roughly US$83,000) at the time of publication on June 15, 2022. That is a dated general starting figure for the builder’s homes, not a quote for this model or a current price.
