What the Passion Spas manual covers

Filtration
The control system runs the filtration cycle. The owner still needs to keep the filter cartridge clean so it can perform its role. A clogged or worn cartridge may filter poorly and put extra burden on the pump and other equipment.
Hygienic cleaning
Check sanitation regularly. The manual names ozone, Nature2 and conventional cleaning chemicals as possible approaches; the right choice depends on the spa’s system and product instructions. Ask a Passion Spas dealer for advice if you are unsure which treatment method is compatible.

Chemical balance and testing
Test the water regularly and follow the directions for the specific treatment products you use. The manual notes that water balance and pH affect sanitation performance, deposits and spa durability, and recommends regular testing and dealer water analysis. It does not establish one dosing recipe for all spas, so do not apply a generic chemical amount without checking the product label and your spa documentation.
Handling and storing chemicals
- Read each product label and follow its directions; measure only the indicated amount.

Inspect the cartridge as part of routine care. If it is worn or no longer filters properly, cleaning may not restore it; choose a replacement only after matching it to your spa model. The manual does not identify a universal cartridge part number.
