Prepare for either CNC design
These are vendor-specified plans, not independently tested builds. Before cutting, reconcile the selected plan’s units, plywood thickness, bit size, work area, and machine setup; do not transfer one design’s dimensions or material specifications to the other. Follow the CNC machine and bit manufacturers’ instructions, and use appropriate eye and hearing protection and dust control.
- For the freestanding design, the plan specifies a 450 × 300 × 9 mm plywood sheet and a 3 mm bit.
- For the wall design, the plan specifies a 350 × 300 × 12 mm plywood sheet and a 4 mm bit.
- Check shank and machine compatibility for the bit you use, along with your CNC’s work-area and setup requirements.
The plan pages do not establish a universal paper-roll size compatibility standard. Check the holder’s relevant dimensions against the roll you intend to use rather than assuming every brand will fit.
