The WLC-01 manual describes the system as temporary localized cold therapy for post-surgical and acute injuries where cold is indicated. It says to use the device by or on the order of healthcare professionals and only as instructed by a healthcare professional; its caution says federal law restricts sale of the device to a physician’s order. Follow the instructions supplied with your exact unit.
Why is my NEHOO system not circulating water?
Check the simple flow restrictions first. The WLC-01 manual warns that starting the pump with water below the lowest water line can damage it. Keep the water above that line, and do not assume a minimum volume not specified for your model.

- Check the water level. Add water as needed to bring it above the lowest marked line before operation.
- Inspect the hose and pad. Straighten kinks, make sure the pad is not wrapped so tightly that it restricts flow, and check that the hose and pad are connected correctly.
- Check power and the pump. Confirm the power supply is active and the unit is lit. On the WLC-02, press Start and check for the light vibration described in its manual.
- Stop if the pump does not respond. The WLC-02 manual directs users to contact product support if the pump does not produce that vibration. Do not open the unit or attempt internal pump repair unless your exact manual explicitly authorizes it.
The WLC-01 listing also identifies hair or thread caught in the pump as a possible cause, but it does not make internal servicing a general user fix. If the checks above do not restore circulation, stop using the unit and contact support.
Why won’t the NEHOO cold therapy pad get cold?
These systems use ice and water in a bucket-style reservoir. Verify the bucket contains both, then check for a kinked hose, an overly tight pad wrap, loose connectors, or a blocked return path that could impede circulation. The manuals reviewed do not support diagnosing compressor faults or applying generic chiller reset procedures to this system.

What should I do if a hose connector is leaking?
Stop use if a connection leaks. The WLC-01 manual warns: “Poor connections between tubes may cause leaking, which can result in serious injury, including infection and tissue necrosis.”
- Check that each O-ring is present, correctly seated, and undamaged. Replace a worn O-ring.
- Reconnect the tubes firmly until the connectors click or snap into place. The WLC-01 manual also mentions applying Vaseline to O-rings.
- Check the pad and hose connections again before resuming use. If you cannot confirm a secure, leak-free connection, contact support.
If water is leaking from the lid, the WLC-01 manual says to check whether an internal hose has come off its joint. That check involves access inside the unit; follow only the instructions for your model and contact support if you are uncertain rather than disassembling it on guesswork. For a leak from the cold pad itself, the WLC-01 manual says to replace the pad.

Why does the pad feel like it has too much or too little pressure?
First confirm that the hose and pad are connected correctly and that water can return to the bucket. Inspect the connectors and hose if return flow seems poor, then select a more suitable water flow rate using the controls described in your model’s manual. A pad that does not return water is a circulation problem, not just a comfort adjustment.
What if the unit will not power on or the pump will not respond?
Confirm the power supply is active and check whether the unit lights up. For the WLC-02, press Start and check for the light pump vibration described in its manual. If the pump does not respond, its manual’s next step is product support. The reviewed manual instructions do not establish a general reset procedure or user-authorized electrical repair.

How should I drain and store the system?
For the WLC-01, the manual says to drain the bucket and wipe it dry. To drain the pad, hold it so the insulation tube hangs downward and depress the buttons at the tube end. Follow your model’s own cleaning and storage directions; the WLC-01 values below should not be assumed to apply to another model.
- WLC-01 storage range: −25°C to 70°C.
- WLC-01 humidity: 10% to 90% relative humidity, non-condensing.
- WLC-01 cautions: Avoid hot or freezing storage and direct sunlight on the control unit.
Can I replace a leaking NEHOO cold therapy pad?
The WLC-01 manual directs users to replace a pad that leaks. NEHOO’s site lists a replacement pad, but the product information reviewed does not establish which models it fits. Verify exact compatibility with NEHOO or the seller before ordering; do not assume a WLC-01 pad fits a WLC-02 or vice versa.
