The TiGo NanoMax is a compact folding everyday-carry knife reported with a wide, curved M390 steel blade and a titanium body. New Atlas described it in December 2024 as roughly the length of a standard house key when folded. Its campaign prices and planned delivery date are historical details, not confirmation that the knife is available today.
What the NanoMax is
New Atlas identified the NanoMax as a flip-open folding EDC knife from Hong Kong-based TiGo. Its defining feature is a broad, curved blade with a profile the publication compared to a small chef’s knife, set inside a titanium body. The report names M390 as the blade steel; it does not include independent testing or measurements of cutting performance.

The reported folded length is the basis for the house-key comparison. The source does not state the blade length or the knife’s dimensions when open.
Potential uses—and what was not tested
New Atlas suggested the curved blade could be used for slicing food and carving wood, and mentioned striking a flint or ferro rod to start a fire. Those are proposed uses in the article, not documented test results. It provides no independent findings on edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance or fire-starting performance.

Kickstarter prices and delivery were campaign-era details
New Atlas reported on December 19, 2024, that the NanoMax was being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. At that time, it said pledges had passed US$15,000—about seven times the stated goal. The reported pledge tiers were HK$579 (about US$75) for a launch-day tier, HK$619 (about US$80) for a super-early-bird tier and HK$659 (about US$85) for a later tier. These were campaign offers, not verified retail prices.
The same report said shipping was due in April 2025, but did not verify that the campaign fulfilled or that delivery occurred. It also does not establish current stock, price, warranty or retailer availability.

- Confirm current availability, seller, price and warranty directly with a current retailer or TiGo; the 2024 campaign figures do not establish present-day terms.
- If you want to attach a ring or lanyard, check the actual slot dimensions and accessory fit. The report gives no measurements.
- For legal carry guidance, consult current official rules for your jurisdiction. The New Atlas report does not address knife laws.
