KIOTI entered the compact-loader market in December 2023 with two machines: the tracked TL750 compact track loader and the wheeled SL750 skid steer loader. The company said both were being released to dealers across North America. They share a launch story, but they are different machine types and should be compared by the work and ground conditions each must handle.
What KIOTI launched
KIOTI announced the TL750 and SL750 on December 13, 2023, positioning them for work from acreage management to jobsite applications. The announcement described both as powered by a 74-horsepower KIOTI diesel engine and emphasized operator comfort, visibility, controls and attachment operation. Those are manufacturer descriptions, not independent performance findings. KIOTI’s launch announcement identifies the company as a division of Daedong-USA, Inc.
The launch release also said the first TL750 was delivered to singer-songwriter Trace Adkins in October 2023. That is a company-reported promotional detail, not a product test.
TL750 or SL750: what is the difference?
The TL750 is a compact track loader; the SL750 is a skid steer loader. The distinction matters for site conditions and operating needs: the TL750 uses tracks, while the SL750 is the wheeled machine. KIOTI’s available U.S. pages do not establish a complete, apples-to-apples specification comparison for the two models, so buyers should confirm current specifications for the exact configurations they are considering.

For a practical comparison, assess the machine against the work rather than relying on model names alone:
- Ground and travel: Consider the surface, traction needs and expected travel. The machines differ in tracked versus wheeled running gear.
- Lift and attachments: Check the capacity and hydraulic requirements for the loads and attachments you actually use. Confirm attachment interface and compatibility with the dealer; the launch materials do not verify fit for any particular third-party attachment.
- Operator setup: Compare canopy and enclosed-cab configurations, controls, visibility and comfort for the conditions and hours of operation.
- Ownership: Ask about current warranty terms, local dealer support, service access and the total purchase cost for the chosen configuration.
KIOTI’s U.S. compact-loader overview presents the current model lineup and dealer/support pathways. Regional specifications should not be mixed: KIOTI Europe uses designations such as SL660E-L and SL750E, and its metric figures are not necessarily interchangeable with U.S. configurations. Features KIOTI highlighted at launch
KIOTI’s December 2023 announcement described the following equipment and design features. They are claims and specifications in the manufacturer’s release, not independently verified comparative results.
- Controls and attachment operation: Hydraulic pilot joystick controls, with attachment functions available from the joystick.
- Visibility and lighting: A standard rearview camera integrated with the display, plus LED front and rear work lights.
- Lift function: Standard self-leveling, described as keeping a bucket or attachment horizontal while lifting. KIOTI also described a vertical lift path and a maximum height of up to 10.8 feet to the hinge pin.
- Optional equipment: An enclosed cab with HVAC and ride control were listed as options in the launch release.
For the TL750 specifically, KIOTI described a solid-mounted undercarriage, a track design intended to reduce de-tracking, protected hose routing, an open track system, a swing-out rear radiator and a cab that lifts for service access. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of its design.

Warranty: distinguish the launch claim from current terms
KIOTI’s 2023 launch release stated that both models came with a standard three-year, 3,000-hour warranty. That is what the company said at launch; it should not be assumed to apply unchanged to a current purchase. Ask the dealer for the warranty terms governing the specific machine and purchase.

- Define the work and site. Identify typical loads, surfaces, access constraints and the attachments needed for recurring jobs.
- Compare the correct machine type. Evaluate the tracked TL750 and wheeled SL750 against the site and travel conditions rather than treating the names as trim levels of one loader.
- Match configuration and hydraulics. Confirm cab or canopy choice, attachment interface, hydraulic requirements and any Flow+ needs against the exact machine and implements.
