Height Done Right is a Halifax, West Yorkshire business offering drone roof inspections and static-boom aerial access. It says it serves householders and professionals across Calderdale, Kirklees and beyond. Its roof reviews are visual, point-in-time assessments—not structural surveys or guarantees that a roof is safe or free of defects.
What is Height Done Right?
Height Done Right describes itself as an aerial-access and roof-inspection business based in Halifax. Its website presents two services: using drones to capture imagery of residential and commercial buildings, and providing access with static-boom machinery. The site identifies DJI as the drone brand, but does not name a model or specify its camera, image resolution or inspection method.
The business says it serves householders and professionals in Calderdale, Kirklees and “beyond.” That wider service boundary is not defined, so customers outside those areas should confirm whether the company will attend their location.
What services does it offer?
Drone roof inspections
A drone can capture views of roof areas that may be difficult to see from the ground. Height Done Right says it uses DJI drones to photograph residential and commercial buildings. Its published service description does not establish that the images reveal concealed defects, assess structural soundness or certify a roof as safe.

Before booking, ask what parts of the roof and chimney will be viewed, what conditions could limit the inspection, and what you will receive afterward—for example, photographs, video, written observations or recommendations. The company’s terms describe reviews as visual and point-in-time; concealed problems may not be visible, and the review is not a guarantee of ongoing condition or safety. See the terms and conditions for the company’s stated limitations.
Static-boom aerial access
The company also offers access using static-boom machinery, which it describes as an alternative to scaffolding. It says its operator is qualified by IPAF for static boom (1b) machinery. That is the company’s own description, not an independent verification of the operator’s current training status or suitability for a particular job. The company’s About Us page identifies founder Giles Martin and says he completed an IPAF training programme to operate a class 1B mobile elevating work platform (MEWP).

- Drone with 1080P Camera: A camera mounted on it can be manually adjusted to see what's in front of the drone while it's flying, or it can be aimed down to see what's directly below it. I'm sure you can take some interesting photos & videos, or even use it to inspect the roof of a house or other hard-to-reach areas. Friends can shoot each other skating & capture really cool videos. Please charge the product using the provided charging cable. Before using this item, make sure to fully charge it.
- Play Longer: The FPV drone has two rechargeable batteries, each providing approximately 12 minutes of flight time. 2 batteries can be swapped & charged in rotation, greatly extending the fun time. Note that more flips & faster speeds will reduce the flight time per battery
- Remote Control & App: You can fly the mini drone with remote control or a smart phone. But in order to capture video or images, you must be connected to the drone via WiFi & the ''Hiturbo FPV'' app. If you need to use the voice control, trajectory flight & other functions which under the ''control switch'' button in the app, you need to disconnect the remote control from the drone, connect the drone with the app individually.
- Discover new adventures: 2 batteries provide you with up to 24 minutes of flying experience. Features such as altitude hold, 3D flip, headless mode, one key take off/landing, speed adjustment & voice control make it easy & fun for beginners or novices.
- Suitable for Beginners: This drone is a little easier to operate than other drones (it has fewer steps to fly, no manual pairing required), so it's suitable for people just starting out. If you're considering learning how to fly a drone, make this drone your first one. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to take your imagination to the next level with this starter drone
A boom lift provides physical access; a drone captures imagery remotely. The appropriate option depends on the task, whether a person needs to reach the work area, site access and ground conditions, and the inspection or access deliverable required. The published information does not provide project-specific prices or criteria for choosing between the services, so ask for a job-specific recommendation and quote rather than assuming one option is always faster, safer or cheaper.
What a drone roof inspection can—and cannot—tell you
A visual review can document what is visible at the time of the visit. It is not the same as a structural survey, and a set of drone images alone cannot establish that a roof is structurally sound or that every defect has been found. Damage beneath coverings or other concealed faults may remain undetected.

Is Height Done Right the same as the UK IPO record?
The phrase “Height Done Right” also appears in a UK Intellectual Property Office journal entry published on 30 January 2026, naming Safety 7 Ltd in connection with building maintenance, repair and technical design or inspection services. That listing does not establish that Safety 7 Ltd operates the Halifax business or owns its website. The matching name alone is not evidence that the two are connected.
