Short answer: HeatPal Pro’s seller advertises an 800W plug-in heater for localized heating, but the available evidence does not independently confirm its claimed 30–35 m² coverage or energy savings. More importantly, Electrical Safety First reported that a HeatPal sample it examined for UK safety compliance failed a plug-pin strength test. The sources do not establish whether that sample is the same model as the separately marketed HeatPal Pro, so treat the safety finding seriously without assuming it applies to every product sold under the HeatPal name.
What HeatPal says the heater can do
The HeatPal Pro seller describes an 800W plug-in heater with a thermostat, timer and remote control, and advertises coverage of approximately 30–35 m². The seller also presents it as a way to heat a specific space more efficiently than heating an entire building. A separate HeatPal manual describes a cordless ceramic space heater with two fan speeds and a digital temperature range of 15–32°C. The sources do not establish that this manual describes the same model as the HeatPal Pro page, so its specifications and instructions should not automatically be applied to that product. What the available evidence says about performance
There is no dated, independently measured test in the available sources showing how quickly a HeatPal heater warms a room, how evenly it distributes heat, or how much electricity it uses in typical operation. The advertised room size and savings claims therefore should not be treated as verified results.

Customer comments can offer clues about buyer experience, but they are not controlled heating tests. When accessed on October 8, 2026, the Trustpilot page for heatpal.com displayed 12 reviews and a 1.9 score, with no reviews in the preceding 12 months. Some reviewers reported little change in room temperature or heat mainly near the unit. What the safety finding does—and does not—establish
Electrical Safety First says it purchased heaters advertised as Keilini, HeatPal and InstaHeat for examination against UK safety requirements. It reported serious electric-shock risks across the three examined brands, and said the HeatPal and InstaHeat samples’ plug pins snapped under slight pressure during a strength test. It also reported that the examined products lacked basic required markings. These findings concern the purchased samples and UK context; the report does not identify a current HeatPal model number or establish that every HeatPal-branded product has the same design. That distinction matters because the safety sample cannot be conclusively matched to the separately marketed HeatPal Pro. The evidence supports caution about the sample examined, not a blanket conclusion about every product carrying the name. Electrical Safety First advises buying from reputable high-street stores or their direct online shops.
Manual instructions, if they match your model
The HeatPal manual sets out restrictive electrical and placement instructions. Because the model identity is unresolved, first check that the manual applies to the exact heater you own; do not use it as confirmation that a different HeatPal model is safe or compliant.

- Connect directly to a grounded 220–240V wall outlet rated at 15A or higher.
- Do not use an extension cord, surge protector or timer, and do not share the outlet with another appliance.
- Keep combustible materials at least 0.9m away, keep vents unobstructed, and do not use the heater outdoors or in a bathroom.
- Unplug the heater when it is not in use.
If your exact model’s manual or markings differ, follow the instructions and applicable safety guidance for that specific product rather than assuming these directions transfer across the HeatPal range.

Because the available sources do not verify a single current HeatPal model, avoid relying on the brand name alone. Before buying any plug-in heater, check the specific model and market rather than accepting broad claims about coverage or efficiency.
