The FlexiSpot C7 Pro Max won over Droid Life reviewer Kellen with its springy mesh seat and supportive lower backrest—but his several weeks with it also revealed fit and usability drawbacks. His experience is encouraging, not a guarantee of comfort for every body. Here’s what the chair offers, what bothered him, and what remains unknown for buyers today.
What is the FlexiSpot C7 Pro Max?
The C7 Pro Max is a full-mesh ergonomic office chair. Kellen’s review describes mesh across the seat, back, and headrest, along with multiple adjustments and a retractable footrest. FlexiSpot’s October 2024 sale page lists ten backrest-height adjustment positions, self-adaptive lumbar support, a smart gravity-sensing base, and a maximum capacity of 330 lb. That capacity is a manufacturer specification, not an independent test result. Kellen’s review at Droid Life and FlexiSpot’s October 2024 sale page describe the chair.

Why did the reviewer like the mesh and lumbar support?
After several weeks of use, Kellen described the mesh seat as springy and breathable, and singled out the lower-back support as a highlight. He also liked the headrest while reclining and the way the footrest tucks away when not in use. Those are his impressions of this chair in his use, not clinical findings or proof that it will relieve back pain.
What did Kellen find uncomfortable or awkward?
Seat edges can get in the way
The plastic edges around the mesh seat bothered Kellen when he sat cross-legged or spread his legs. That matters if you often change sitting positions; the review does not establish how the edges will feel for other users.

Armrests move too readily for his preference
Kellen found the armrests shifted sideways or rotated too easily. If you want armrests to stay firmly in one position, that is a practical concern to assess rather than assume away.
The supplied gas lift felt too short to him
Kellen is 6’1″ and said the supplied lift felt too short even at its top setting. He bought a taller gas lift separately, but did not identify its model. The review does not establish that any particular replacement cylinder is compatible with or safe for other C7 Pro Max owners, so treat his workaround as an individual choice rather than a recommendation.

Should you buy a FlexiSpot C7 Pro Max?
It may suit you if you are drawn to a breathable mesh seat, want several adjustment options, and value the lower-back support Kellen praised. His review is less reassuring if you sit cross-legged or spread your legs, need more height than the supplied lift provides, or expect armrests to resist sideways movement and rotation.
Before choosing it over another chair, compare the current price, seat material and firmness, fit and adjustment range, lumbar feel, armrest stability, and warranty terms. Those details matter more than a feature list when you are trying to predict whether a chair will work for your own setup.

What were the C7 Pro Max’s historical prices?
These are dated US figures, not current quotes. In November 2024, Kellen wrote that the chair retailed for $800 and that his then-current holiday offer was $549.99. FlexiSpot’s October 2024 sale page listed $799.99 as the original price and $499.99 for a promotion running November 22–December 2, 2024. The offers differed, and neither establishes today’s price or availability.
