The Cinch/Wild Land Kitchen Cruiser is a portable camp kitchen—not a sleeping pod or towable RV. It packs into a cube-shaped case and opens into a station with a stove, prep surface, sink and storage. Its specifications depend on the model: the 2024 report describes an original version with one 2.2-kW stove, while Cinch’s current Kitchen Cruiser Pro page lists two burners and a pressurized water system.
What the Kitchen Cruiser is—and how it opens
The Kitchen Cruiser is designed to consolidate cooking and food-preparation equipment in one portable module. New Atlas’s August 2024 report describes a unit that folds open in width and height. Four folding legs let it stand at working height or sit flat at ground level. Its two folding side shelves provide a work surface and a sink; the lid lifts to become another shelf and expose the stove. Storage drawers are built into the cabinet. New Atlas’s 2024 report describes the original model.
The headline’s “camping pod” is a visual shorthand for the box-shaped unit. It is a kitchen module for a campsite, not an enclosed shelter or a vehicle.
Original Kitchen Cruiser and Kitchen Cruiser Pro specifications
The original model in the 2024 report and the current Pro are described differently. The stove specifications should not be treated as interchangeable or as evidence that every unit has the same configuration.

The original model’s size and weight are reported specifications, not independent measurements. Cinch’s current Pro specifications are manufacturer-listed. See the Kitchen Cruiser Pro page for the current product description.
Stove fuel and the Pro’s gas connection
New Atlas describes the original Kitchen Cruiser’s stove as LPG, but its report does not establish the precise fitting or compatible bottle options. For the Pro, Cinch lists a 7/16-inch EN417 connection and says a CGA600-to-EN417 adapter is needed to connect a 1 lb propane bottle. Check the exact model and fitting before buying an adapter; that connection guidance is specific to the Pro.

Cinch states that the Pro stove is CSA certified to ANSI Z21.72:2019. That is the manufacturer’s claim; it has not been independently confirmed here against a certification registry.
What is included—and what you still need
The original report describes the stove, cabinet, drawers, folding shelves and sink as part of the unit. Its tap draws from a separate water canister or bottle, which New Atlas says is not included. A second single-burner stove could be placed on a worktop, but that would be an additional stove, not the included burner.

Cinch’s Pro description includes a double-burner stove, folding basin, pump, prep space and storage, and says the buyer adds water. The cited product descriptions do not establish that a water container is included. Confirm the contents for the specific version and order before setting out; also check water-intake and hose compatibility if choosing a separate container.
Size, weight and campsite setup considerations
At a reported or listed base weight of 43 lb, the unit is portable in the sense that it packs into a compact case, but it is not a lightweight accessory. The packed dimensions—22.2 × 15.9 × 18.7 inches—are useful when checking vehicle storage space. For the Pro, Cinch lists deployed dimensions of 49.6 × 26.8 × 36.2 inches. Plan for that footprint plus room to stand, open shelves and reach the stove.

The original report says the four legs can be used to set the kitchen at standing height or flat on the ground. Neither cited source provides independent durability testing or measured setup times, so those qualities cannot be inferred from the specifications alone.

That campaign is over.
