That equipment makes it a plausible full-time home for some occupants; it does not prove long-term comfort, low utility use or permission to live in it permanently at a particular address.
How Seawillow uses its 32-foot footprint
Seawillow is a customized build on Decathlon Tiny Homes’ Poseidon platform. New Atlas reports a length of 32 feet (9.75 m), while the builder’s gallery identifies it as “32′ Poseidon – ‘Seawillow’.” Autoevolution describes it as a triple-axle-trailer park model. (New Atlas, Jan. 7, 2026; Decathlon Tiny Homes gallery; Autoevolution, Jan. 8, 2026)
Autoevolution reports 340 square feet in total, including the 68-square-foot loft. Decathlon lists the standard Poseidon at 272 square feet plus a 68-square-foot loft. The figures describe the custom build and the standard model respectively; they are publisher- and builder-reported, not independent measurements. The loft is already included in Seawillow’s 340-square-foot total.
Room sequence
From the front, the plan runs through a living room, central kitchen, pass-through bathroom and rear ground-floor bedroom. A loft above the bathroom and bedroom adds flexible space. Autoevolution reports that it is used for crafts or hobbies and storage, rather than describing it as another enclosed ground-floor room.

What facilities are inside?
Autoevolution reports Seawillow’s custom kitchen has a two-burner induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher drawer and retro-style refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom is reported to include a washer-dryer, flush toilet, glass shower and 30-gallon water heater. The report also identifies two mini-split units and a Lunos ventilation system.
These are reported features of this particular custom build, not a guarantee that every Poseidon includes the same appliances or brands. Decathlon’s standard Poseidon specification lists a two-burner cooktop, microwave, 9.8-cubic-foot refrigerator, laundry connections, flush toilet, 3-by-3-foot shower, vanity, storage stairs to the loft and a 30-gallon water heater. Its page lists washer/dryer units, a composting toilet, skylight, ceiling fan, farm sink, convection microwave, oven options and tankless water heater as upgrades. The configurator separately lists Lunos e2 as a ventilation option; the available information does not establish that this is the exact Lunos model installed in Seawillow. Could it work as a full-time home?
The design addresses many basics of everyday living: a ground-floor bedroom, cooking and food storage, a bathroom, laundry equipment, climate control and loft storage. Decathlon says the standard Poseidon sleeps two in the master bedroom and two in the loft. That is the builder’s stated sleeping capacity, not an assessment of privacy, comfort or suitability for a specific household.
The distinction matters in a small home: a listed sleeping place does not necessarily mean the same level of privacy or convenience as a separate bedroom. The sources report the layout and equipment but do not provide measured energy consumption, indoor-air performance, durability testing or an owner account of long-term use. Those unknowns prevent a confident claim about operating costs or how comfortable Seawillow is year-round.

Does towability make it a permanent home?
No. Towing capability, vehicle-related standards or registration, and permission to occupy a home permanently are separate issues. Decathlon says a one-ton truck is needed to tow the standard Poseidon. Autoevolution describes Seawillow as a park model not intended for frequent travel. A trailer’s ability to move does not determine whether a particular jurisdiction allows it to be used as a permanent residence.
Decathlon says its homes are built to recreational-vehicle standards and commonly built to NFPA 1192 or ANSI 119.5 standards for certification or registration. The builder also cautions that there is no single industry standard recognized for tiny homes on wheels, and that jurisdictions, banks and insurers may apply different definitions and requirements. These are builder-provided statements, not an independent certification audit. Its FAQ explicitly says: “We build Decathlon Tiny Homes to recreational vehicle standards. ‘Tiny Homes On Wheels’ is a marketing term.” The FAQ’s accompanying caveat about varying requirements is essential context. Decathlon’s Poseidon product page lists a $112,750 advertised starting price as of Oct. 8, 2026. That is the standard model’s starting price, not a published quote for Seawillow. Autoevolution reports no published price for the customized Seawillow, which was already on its way to its owner when covered. Custom selections and delivery arrangements can affect what a buyer would pay; the available sources do not give a Seawillow total. (Decathlon Poseidon; Autoevolution)
