Why consider a curved manual treadmill for CrossFit?
On a manual curved treadmill, the belt moves in response to the runner. Rogue says the Curve LTG’s speed is controlled by the user’s movement, while Woodway describes its Curve as suited to acceleration and interval work. That makes the category a plausible fit for workouts with frequent pace changes, but those manufacturer descriptions are not independent proof of better performance or training outcomes.
Choose based on the exact machine’s running surface, capacity, console, footprint, electrical needs and configuration—not on the word “Curve” or a curvature percentage alone. Curvature designs are not shown to use a standardized difficulty scale.

Check surface dimensions and user limits
The Curve LTG lists a 62 × 17-inch running surface, while the TrueForm Runner lists 54 × 17 inches. The TrueForm Runner’s published maximum user weight is 700 lb; the Curve LTG’s listed running capacity is 350 lb. These are model-specific published figures, and the sources use different labels for the limits, so confirm the manufacturer’s current capacity definition for the exact model before purchase.
Compare configuration, display and installation needs
The TrueForm Runner offers belt-surface and display choices, which can affect the machine you actually receive. The Woodway Curve base model’s standard-display version is specified as not requiring electricity, but that detail should not be assumed for the Curve LTG or other variants. Before ordering, confirm dimensions, machine weight, delivery access, installation arrangements, power requirements and warranty coverage for the precise configuration.
