Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Both centrifugal and slow (masticating) juicers can handle grapes when the specific model’s instructions say they can. There is no supported universal winner for grape juice: choose by the texture you want, how the machine handles seeds and skins, and whether you’re making a glass to drink or juice for jelly. A food strainer or steam juicer may suit those latter jobs better than a household juicer.
Can you juice grapes in a juicer?
Yes, if the manufacturer approves grapes for your model. Philips lists grapes as suitable for both centrifugal and slow/masticating juicers in its guidance. Its US support page’s applicability note names models HR1933/34, so check the manual for your own machine rather than treating that guidance as universal: Philips guidance on what can be juiced.
Seed instructions vary by model. Moulinex says small grape seeds do not need to be removed for its Fruitélia+ JU370; that is not a rule for every juicer. An older Champion Juicer manual says that its machine can juice grapes with skin and seeds, then recommends straining the juice. It also cautions that ground seeds can affect taste. Follow the instructions for the exact machine you own.
Which juicer works best for grapes?
The available manufacturer instructions establish grape compatibility for more than one juicer type, not a grape-specific head-to-head winner. They do not establish that one type produces more juice, tastes better, or makes less bitter juice. Use the comparison below to match the method to your intended result.

| Centrifugal juicer | Philips says grapes are particularly suitable for its centrifugal juicers. | A fresh glass when your model’s manual allows grapes. | That is Philips guidance, not a comparison proving centrifugal machines are best for all grapes. See Philips’ support guidance. |
| Slow or masticating juicer | Philips lists grapes among suitable fruit for slow juicing, which it describes as squeezing produce. | A fresh glass when you prefer this style of juicer and its manual permits grapes. | Philips advertises up to 90% fruit extraction on its product-family page, based on internal tests using 1,000 g each of grapes and several other fruits. The test year is not stated; this is not an independent grape-specific comparison. See Philips’ slow-juicer page. |

How to get juice with fewer seeds or skins
Start by checking whether your juicer’s manual lists grapes and says whether seeds should be removed. If the resulting juice contains bits of peel or seeds you do not want, strain it through a compatible fine strainer. VKP recommends its Tomato/Apple Screen (Fine) for its food-strainer system; that screen recommendation applies to VKP’s equipment, not to every appliance.
For VKP’s manual strainer, its 2024-revision manual gives this procedure:

These steps and parts are specific to the VKP food strainer; do not assume they fit another brand’s system.

For fresh juice
Use a centrifugal or slow juicer whose own instructions permit grapes. Decide how much seed or peel you are willing to have in the finished drink, then strain it if needed. For example, the older Champion manual recommends passing that machine’s grape juice through its provided sieve and warns that ground seeds can affect taste.

For grape jelly or preserving
VKP’s manual points readers making grape jelly toward its separately sold steam juicer as an alternative preserving method. That is a distinct use case from choosing a juicer for a fresh glass; the manual does not compare steam-juiced grape juice with fresh-juice methods.
What the available guidance can—and cannot—tell you
Manufacturer instructions can confirm whether a particular machine accepts grapes and explain how to use that model or system. They do not provide a controlled grape-specific comparison of centrifugal, slow, manual, and steam methods, or establish a universally best machine, yield, taste, or nutrition result. Philips’ extraction percentage is its own internal-test claim, not an independent comparison. Choose by the instructions for your equipment and the result you want.
