Reviewed options include cotton percale crib sheets, organic cotton percale sheet sets and custom-printed cotton sateen sheets, with different pieces and care instructions.
Start with the bed size and mattress depth
A crib fitted sheet and a twin or full sheet set are not interchangeable. Check the mattress width, length and depth against the fitted-sheet dimensions; a sheet that matches the first two measurements may still be too shallow for the mattress.
- Crib: Pottery Barn Kids lists its Emily & Meritt Leopard Print Crib Fitted Sheet for a 27.5 × 52-inch mattress up to 10 inches deep. The page says elastic is on the top and bottom only. Pottery Barn Kids product page
- Twin and larger: Spoonflower lists its Cheetah Leopard animal-print fitted sheet in six sizes: twin, twin XL, full, queen, king and California king. Its twin fitted sheet is listed as 39 × 75 × 16 inches, with a depth limit of up to 15 inches. Spoonflower product page
- Twin, full or queen set: Crate & Kids lists its Stay Cool Leopard sheet set in those three sizes. Confirm the selected size and mattress fit on the product page before ordering. Crate & Kids product page
Compare the fabric and set contents
The listings use different cotton fabrics and weaves, so compare the product’s stated material rather than assuming all cotton sheets feel or perform alike.
| Product | Material and weave | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Emily & Meritt Leopard Print Crib Fitted Sheet, Pottery Barn Kids | 100% cotton percale | One crib fitted sheet |
| Stay Cool Leopard sheet set, Crate & Kids | 100% organic cotton percale | Twin includes one standard pillowcase; full and queen include two pillowcases. The page lists the set format; check the listing for any other included pieces. |
| Cheetah Leopard animal-print kids sheet set, Spoonflower | 100% Italian cotton sateen | Set contents beyond the fitted sheet are not stated in the reviewed details; check the selected size’s listing. |
Crate & Kids says its textile safety tests meet OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and describes testing against more than 1,000 harmful substances. That is the retailer’s product-page claim, not a comparison of the sheets’ comfort or suitability for every child.

Choose between a stocked design and print-to-order
Spoonflower describes its sheet set as custom printed and made to order. The Crate & Kids and Pottery Barn Kids pages list retail products, but current stock can change. Check the listing for current availability, delivery details and any price or promotion before buying.
A separate Pottery Barn Kids cheetah crib-sheet listing describes a 200-thread-count organic cotton percale sheet, but the page currently says it is no longer available. Treat it as a past product example, not a live option, unless its status changes. Pottery Barn Kids cheetah crib-sheet page

It is more comfortable than cotton and more durable than silk, providing years of attractive enjoyment.
- Easy Care: Taking the proper garment care of your fitted sheet is essential if you like to preserve their durability. Use a mesh laundry bag, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry on low heat. Do not bleach. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Follow the care instructions for the exact sheet
Care differs by product. Pottery Barn Kids directs customers to wash the Emily & Meritt sheet before first use, machine wash warm on gentle, use non-chlorine bleach if needed and tumble dry low. Crate & Kids specifies a cold gentle wash and low tumble dry for its organic cotton percale set. Check the label or product page for the sheet you buy rather than applying one listing’s instructions to another.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Crib-sheet guidance from the retailer
Pottery Barn Kids advises using only a fitted bottom sheet specifically made for crib use and explains that its fitted crib sheets have elastic around the top and bottom rather than the entire edge. This is the retailer’s guidance on its product page; it is not an independent pediatric or regulatory assessment.
