The right electric kettle with a tea infuser depends on how much water you make at once, whether you need temperature control, and how easily the basket comes out for cleaning. Manufacturer-listed options range from compact 1.2-liter boil-only models to a 1.7-liter smart kettle with preset temperatures and keep-warm functionality. The examples below are specifications, not a hands-on ranking.
What is an electric tea-infuser kettle?
It combines a water-heating kettle with a basket for steeping loose-leaf or bagged tea in the same vessel. The basket is removable on the Chefman examples below, which makes it possible to lift it out after steeping. Confirm that the exact model you are considering includes an infuser and that it can be removed.
Boil-only designs bring water to a full boil. Chefman says this suits black and herbal teas; for green, white, and oolong teas, it recommends letting the water cool briefly after boiling or using a temperature-control kettle. Choose capacity for your routine
The listed examples span 1.2 L, 1.7 L, and 1.8 L. A smaller kettle may suit preparing tea for one or two people, while a larger vessel can reduce the need to refill when serving several cups. Those are practical considerations, not a conversion to a fixed number of cups: cup sizes differ, and the manufacturers’ model specifications are the reliable comparison.
Decide whether you need temperature control
Full-boil models
The cited Chefman Fast-Boil kettles heat to a full boil. If that meets your routine, compare their capacity and removable infuser. For tea you prefer to steep below boiling, Chefman advises cooling the water briefly after boiling or choosing its temperature-control kettle range. Read Chefman’s guidance.

Preset temperature models
Govee lists four temperature programs for the H717A and describes app control and stated 1°F accuracy. If you want to select a lower target rather than wait for boiled water to cool, those are relevant features to verify on the current listing. The accuracy figure is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independent measurement.
Check how the infuser, keep-warm function, and controls work
Look for an infuser that is included and removable, and consider whether its basket size suits the amount of tea you prepare. Do not assume every kettle marketed for tea has the same basket design. For the Govee H717A, the manufacturer lists an infuser and up to two hours of keep-warm functionality; the cited details do not establish removability. The Chefman product pages list removable infusers, but do not state a keep-warm duration.

Smart controls can be useful if you want app access, while simpler controls may be preferable if you only need to boil water. Compare what the exact model actually offers rather than assuming that a tea-focused name includes preset programs, a timer, or a keep-warm mode.
Review safety and care instructions for the exact model
Safety features are model-specific. Chefman lists automatic shutoff and boil-dry protection for its cited 1.2 L model, and cETL approval for both cited Chefman models. Check the selected kettle’s own listing and manual for its protections and operating requirements; do not transfer a feature from one model to another.

For the cited Chefman care guidance, the manufacturer recommends hand-washing the kettle body and infuser, keeping the electrical base dry and never submerging it, and descaling about once a month in hard-water conditions with a 50/50 water-and-white-vinegar mixture.
