Beatbot lists a 9L basket, solar charging, app controls, and automatic poolside parking, but describes the model as no longer available; its newer 2026 iSkim is a separate product. The advertised features are manufacturer claims, not independent performance findings.
What is the Beatbot iSkim Ultra?
The iSkim Ultra is a floating robotic skimmer intended to pick up surface debris and address areas near pool edges. Beatbot’s official product listing and product information page describe it as a 2025 model. It is not the same product as Beatbot’s newer 2026 iSkim.
What hardware and controls does it include?
Beatbot publishes these specifications for the 2025 Ultra:
- 9L filter basket: collects debris from the pool surface.
- 24W solar panel and 10,000mAh battery: the company says its SolarTrack system uses solar power alongside battery capacity to support cleaning.
- Seven motors and dual-side brushes: Beatbot says these support propulsion, edge and surface cleaning, and automatic clarification.
- 20 sensors: listed on Beatbot’s product information page.
- App controls: remote control and scheduling, plus voice broadcasts, are listed features.
- Navigation and parking: Beatbot describes a planned S-pattern, obstacle handling, and automatic or one-click poolside parking.
- Clarifier dispenser: the system dispenses clarifying agent; Beatbot says the clarifier kit is sold separately.
Beatbot’s product copy says: “The iSkim Ultra features an innovative 7-motor system that provides reliable propulsion, precise edge and surface cleaning, and automatic clarification.” That is the manufacturer’s description, not an independently verified result. Beatbot also notes that some results come from internal lab tests and may vary in actual use. No independent test results are established here.

Does its solar system provide continuous cleaning?
Beatbot markets the Ultra around 24/7 autonomy, but qualifies that claim: it depends on optimal sunlight, and prolonged periods without sunlight may reduce performance. Actual operation will therefore depend on conditions such as shade, weather, pool layout, and use. The listed solar panel and battery capacities describe components; they do not guarantee uninterrupted cleaning in every pool or climate.
What pools and Wi-Fi networks does it support?
According to the manufacturer’s product FAQ, the Ultra supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Dual-band routers that support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz are compatible, but a 5GHz-only network would need 2.4GHz enabled.

The listing displays $999, but that page price is not a confirmed current offer for an available unit. If considering a remaining retailer listing, confirm stock, condition, price, warranty, and included accessories directly with the seller. The 2026 iSkim is a different model, not simply another name for the Ultra.
