If you’re choosing the best lemongrass candles for home, start with the scent profile and the details the maker actually provides. Fusion by Pelactiv pairs lemongrass with magnolia, green melon, and lime; Lebanon Candle Company lists a soy wax candle and gives wick-care instructions. Neither product has an independent comparative test behind its stated burn time, so these are options to compare—not a tested ranking.
How to choose a lemongrass candle
Lemongrass can be presented as a relatively direct citrus-herbal scent or softened with other notes. Before buying, compare the listed fragrance notes, wax formulation, candle size, maker-stated burn time, and whether the maker explains basic care. A longer burn-time claim alone does not establish better value: candle sizes and test conditions may differ, and the available product pages do not provide a comparable independent burn test.
Two lemongrass candles to consider
| Candle | Scent description | Wax and size | Maker-stated burn time | Care information |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fusion by Pelactiv Lemongrass Candle | Lemongrass with magnolia, green melon, and lime, according to the maker. | Soy and coconut wax blend; 350 g. The maker says it is made in Australia. | Up to 50 hours, as listed by the maker; publication date is not stated on the product page. | Follow the candle’s own label and maker guidance. Product-page details: Fusion by Pelactiv. |
| Lebanon Candle Company Lemongrass Candle | The maker describes it as a lemongrass candle; additional scent notes are not stated on the product page. | Soy wax; size is not stated on the product page. | 80–100 hours, as claimed by the maker; publication date is not stated on the product page. | The maker recommends trimming the wick to 1/4 inch and letting the wax pool reach the jar edges during each use. Product-page details: Lebanon Candle Company. |
Choose Fusion by Pelactiv for blended citrus-floral notes
This option is the more clearly described blend: the maker names magnolia, green melon, and lime alongside lemongrass. Its 350 g size and soy-coconut wax blend are specified, as is an estimate of up to 50 hours. These are the maker’s published details, not independently verified performance results.
Choose Lebanon Candle Company for maker-provided wick guidance
The company describes its candle as soy wax and claims an 80–100 hour burn. It also gives a specific routine: trim the wick to 1/4 inch and allow the melt pool to reach the jar edges while burning. The page does not state candle size or provide comparative test evidence, so its higher listed hour range cannot by itself be used to compare value with the 350 g Pelactiv candle.

Burn and care candles safely
The National Candle Association (NCA) advises following the manufacturer’s directions, generally limiting a burn to four hours at a time, and discontinuing use of a container candle when about 1/2 inch of wax remains. It also recommends looking for a caution label with basic fire-safety rules. See the NCA fire-safety guidance.
- Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting, remove debris from the wax, and keep a lit candle away from moving air, following NCA care guidance.
- Store lidded candles in a cool, dark, dry place.
- Use the candle’s label and maker instructions if they differ from general guidance.
The NCA’s 2024 discussion of candle emissions summarizes research on emissions and wax types. Its broad conclusions are the association’s summary, not individualized medical advice; see NCA’s 2024 candle-science article.
