For a compact two-serving option, consider the GR10BX; for dishwasher-safe removable plates, compare the GRP1065BX or the feature-rich Contact Smokeless Ready Grill; and for a five-serving cooking surface with fixed plates, look at the GRS075BX. These are feature-based recommendations from the manufacturer’s product listings, not independently tested rankings.

Which model suits your kitchen?
Choose the GR10BX for a compact two-serving grill
The GR10BX is the smallest-capacity option in this comparison. Its official listing describes fixed plates and an adjustable angle for grilling or panini use. The sloped surface and drip tray are also listed features. The page makes a fat-removal claim based on a specified ¼-pound uncooked 80/20 ground-chuck basis; that claim should not be generalized to other foods or cooking conditions.

Choose the GRP1065BX when plate cleanup matters
The GRP1065BX pairs a four-serving manufacturer estimate with removable, dishwasher-safe plates. Its floating hinge and slope design are also specified on the product page. This is the clearest option here if you want to lift the plates out for washing rather than clean fixed plates in place.
Choose the GRS075BX for five servings and fixed plates
The GRS075BX lists a 75-square-inch surface and five-serving capacity, along with an adjustable grilling angle and panini use. Its plates are fixed, so the larger listed capacity does not come with removable-plate cleanup.

Choose the GRS6090BX for controls and upright storage
The Contact Smokeless Ready Grill lists a 90-square-inch surface, a four-to-six-serving estimate, variable temperature control, removable dishwasher-safe plates, a removable drip tray, and vertical storage. The manufacturer also promotes reduced smoke and faster cooking, but those are company claims rather than independent comparative results; the product page’s footnote methodology is not established here. Treat them as promotional claims, not guaranteed outcomes.
Fixed plates or removable plates: what is the difference?
With a removable-plate model, you can take the cooking plates off the grill for washing; George Foreman says removable plates are dishwasher safe. The GRP1065BX and GRS6090BX listings specify removable dishwasher-safe plates. Fixed-plate models such as the GR10BX and GRS075BX do not offer that removal step, so cleaning takes place with the plates attached. The brand advises unplugging the grill and letting it cool before cleaning, and says to clean plates and drip trays after each use. Follow the instructions for your specific model in the manufacturer’s FAQ and manual.

Check the model before buying replacement parts
Grill plates, drip trays, and probes are not necessarily interchangeable across George Foreman models. For example, the GFO240S manual identifies parts for that specific indoor-outdoor grill, including its grill plate, drip tray, and temperature probe. Confirm the model number on your appliance before ordering, then use the manufacturer’s support page to find parts and accessories. The GFO240S is an indoor-outdoor pedestal model, not one of the countertop contact grills compared above.
