Choose by what you juice, how customers order it, and how much you need to produce at peak service. A citrus press for a bar, a centrifugal extractor for made-to-order mixed produce, and a grind-and-press machine for bottled batches solve different jobs.
The options below are compared using manufacturer-published specifications and intended uses—not hands-on tests or independently measured yield and reliability. Treat stated capacities as planning figures, not guaranteed service output.
Start with the job the juicer must do
“Commercial juicer” describes equipment intended for business use, but not one universal machine type. Goodnature uses that wording in its own commercial guidance; it is a manufacturer description, not an independent equipment standard. Before comparing models, define your menu and service pattern.
- Mostly citrus: Consider a dedicated commercial citrus press for oranges, lemons, or limes.
- Mixed produce made to order: A centrifugal extractor may suit fast service involving several fruits or vegetables.
- Slow extraction in smaller batches: Compare commercial slow or auger-style machines, paying close attention to their continuous-use limits.
- Bottled or wholesale batches: Look at equipment designed to grind and press at production scale, and size it to your actual batch needs.
- One glass at a time: An on-demand press may be a better fit than a machine built around bottling volume.
A restaurant serving juice by the glass has a different throughput and storage problem from a juice business filling bottles. Do not select a machine by its category label alone.

Compare the shortlisted machines by use case
| Use case | Model | Manufacturer-published information | What to check for your operation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small restaurant or juice-bar batches | Goodnature Hummingbird | Goodnature lists 30–60 bottles per hour and recommends it for a small juice business or restaurant. This is manufacturer-published capacity, not a guaranteed output. | Confirm how bottle volume, recipe, produce preparation, and changeovers affect your planned production. |
| Individual made-to-order servings | Goodnature M-1 | Goodnature describes it as a compact, on-demand press for one glass at a time and names restaurants, juice bars, and cocktail bars as use settings. | Check whether its one-serving workflow fits your menu and peak order rate. A reseller page listed $3,900 when accessed in 2026; verify the current price and terms. |
| Higher-volume cold-press production | Goodnature X-1 | Goodnature lists 50–300 bottles per hour and a capability of 1,000 bottles per day. These are manufacturer claims, not independently measured production guarantees. | Confirm the assumptions behind the figures, as well as batch size, staffing, packaging, and downstream bottling capacity. |
| Larger production operation | Goodnature X-6 | Goodnature lists capacity of 40–100 US gallons per hour. This is a manufacturer-published figure. | Plan around your actual recipes, batch sizes, storage, and bottling line; gallons per hour are not directly comparable with bottles per hour without bottle size. |
| Slow juicing in a cafe or restaurant | Hurom CP50 | Hurom lists a 3 L hopper, 800 ml chamber, 65 rpm auger, 120 V/60 Hz/150 W configuration, and up to 30 minutes of continuous standard use. Its product page listed $1,499 and a four-year motor-and-parts warranty when accessed in 2026. | Check whether the operating limit suits peak service, and verify current price, warranty details, electrical compatibility, and local support. Hurom describes quick rinsing, but users still need to follow the full cleaning instructions. |
| Commercial slow juicing | Sana 909 Horeca | Sana lists a 60 rpm juicer, an 88 mm feed tube, two juicing-head assemblies, and a 24-hour continuous-use rating. These are manufacturer specifications. | Verify availability, local service and parts, and how the machine’s cleaning and ingredient workflow fit your staff and menu. |
| Commercial centrifugal extraction | Ceado ES700 / ES900 | Ceado lists two independent feeding chutes for the ES700. It describes the ES900 as a high-volume extractor with a 1200 W induction motor and PulpOut system. The cited category information does not provide comparable hourly capacities. | Ask the supplier for model-specific throughput and operating details; do not infer an hourly output from the motor rating or product description. |
For the Goodnature X-1, X-6, and Hummingbird, the stated rates describe different units, so they cannot be ranked by the number alone. Actual output depends on recipe, produce, batch, and workflow.

Citrus presses for orange, lemon, and lime service
If citrus dominates your menu, a purpose-built press is the natural category to investigate. Citrocasa describes its commercial range for foodservice citrus applications, including oranges, lemons, and limes. Ceado describes a compact S98 commercial orange juicer as well as a separate citrus-juicer line. These are manufacturer descriptions, not head-to-head performance findings.

Centrifugal extractors for mixed-produce service
A centrifugal machine is one option when quick extraction across several fruits or vegetables matters during service. Ceado identifies the ES700 as a professional centrifugal juicer with two independent feeding chutes and describes the ES900 as a high-volume extractor. The cited product information does not establish a comparable hourly output for either model, so request details for your ingredients and serving pattern.
Slow or auger machines for smaller, slower workflows
Hurom markets the CP50 to cafes, juice bars, and restaurants. Its published 30-minute continuous-use limit is especially relevant to a busy service window: compare your expected run time with the manufacturer’s limit rather than assuming a commercial label means unrestricted operation.

Sana’s 909 Horeca page describes a commercial slow juicer with a 24-hour continuous-use rating. Goodnature separately says its commercial juicers have a 24-hour duty cycle under normal operating circumstances. These are claims for different products and machine categories; they do not establish an apples-to-apples comparison of performance or durability.
Grind-and-press equipment for bottled production
Goodnature distinguishes its “true cold press” equipment by a two-step grind-then-press process, as opposed to a slow turning screw. That is Goodnature’s stated definition, not a neutral technical standard established by the cited sources. The term alone does not establish a machine’s yield, nutritional effect, or shelf life.

Goodnature positions the Hummingbird for smaller businesses and restaurants, the X-1 and X-6 for larger production needs, and the M-1 for individual servings. Match those intended workflows to your operation rather than treating the model names or “cold press” label as a ranking.

A machine that looks fast on paper can still slow a line if it requires extensive preparation, frequent cleaning, or awkward pulp handling. Walk through a real order from produce storage to a clean, ready machine before buying.
Best Value
- Compact size is ideal for small spaces
- Heavy duty, die-cast base with vibration-dampening feet for quiet, stable operation
- Universal reamer thoroughly juices all types of citrus fruits
- Juice up to 120 oranges per hour
- ETL
- Feed and preparation: Check chute or feed-tube dimensions, what produce must be cut, and whether staff can load ingredients safely during a rush.
- Cleaning and changeover: Identify removable parts, the maker’s complete cleaning procedure, and the time and tools needed between recipes. A quick-rinse feature is not a substitute for full cleaning instructions.
- Pulp management: Find out how pulp is collected and emptied, and whether the process interrupts service.
- Batch and container sizes: Compare the machine’s chamber or hopper with your portion sizes and the containers used for storage or bottling.
- Space and utilities: Measure the counter and clearance needed for operation and cleaning. Confirm voltage, frequency, power, outlet requirements, and any water or ventilation needs specified by the manufacturer.
- Staffing: Decide who will operate and clean the unit, and whether the workflow remains practical for the skill level and staffing available on your busiest shift.
Verify ownership and compliance details before purchase
Product pages do not establish what every health department requires, whether a specific model is approved in your jurisdiction, or whether a nearby technician can repair it. Confirm these details for the exact machine and installation location before committing.
- Ask the local health authority which sanitation listings or approvals apply; do not assume a model is certified because a manufacturer discusses NSF or another standard generally.
- Confirm electrical compatibility for your site and region using the exact model’s specification plate and manufacturer documentation.
- Get the warranty terms in writing, including covered components, duration, exclusions, and the process for service claims.
- Check parts availability, repair coverage, and expected service arrangements in your area.
- Reconfirm live pricing, availability, and included accessories with the seller. Listed prices can change and may not reflect delivery, installation, or other costs.
A practical decision path
- Write down the menu: Separate citrus-only service from mixed fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, and bottled recipes.
- Estimate peak demand: Record expected servings or bottles during your busiest hour and whether orders are made one at a time or in batches.
- Choose a machine category: Compare a citrus press, centrifugal extractor, slow juicer, or grind-and-press system according to that work.
- Screen by duty cycle and workflow: Check continuous-use limits, feed preparation, cleanup, pulp handling, footprint, and utilities for each candidate.
- Validate the supplier’s claims: Ask how published capacity relates to your recipe and container sizes, and request any assumptions behind the figure.
- Confirm local readiness: Verify sanitation requirements, power, warranty, parts, and service before ordering.
If the supplier cannot explain how a capacity claim maps to your actual recipe and service workflow, treat that figure as a starting point for questions—not a forecast.
