Aaron Paul’s former Los Feliz home sold for a reported $7.495 million on October 6, 2026, after debuting just under $10 million in July 2025 and later being reduced to around $8.2 million. The century-old Seyler House has striking architecture and a reported history of celebrity residents, but the sale price alone does not show that its Hollywood history justified the original asking price.

How much did Aaron Paul’s Los Feliz home sell for?

Realtor.com reported the $7.495 million sale on October 7, 2026, citing property records. The property had first been listed just under $10 million in July 2025, then was asking around $8.2 million in January 2026. Those figures show a substantial difference between the original ask and the reported closing price, but the initial asking figure was not exactly $10 million. Realtor.com’s sale report provides the reported timeline and figures.

What is the Seyler House?

The home stands on Aberdeen Avenue in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. Architectural Digest and Mansion Global describe it as a roughly 4,000-square-foot Spanish-style or Spanish Colonial Revival residence built in 1922 by architect Stiles O. Clements. Mansion Global describes it as one of the early homes built in Los Feliz.

Accounts of the house emphasize details that give it a strong period character: barrel-vaulted ceilings, original beams, arched doorways, stained glass, a loggia, French doors, and terracotta accents. Architectural Digest reports that Paul worked with Commune Design to update the interiors while preserving original features. Architectural Digest’s account of the home and Mansion Global’s listing coverage describe its architecture and renovation.

What is the home’s Hollywood history?

Published accounts identify a number of well-known former residents, including Robert Pattinson, Jim Parsons, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Robert Luketic, Noah Wyle, Robert Richardson, and Tim Curry. The names vary among reports, so they should be treated as reported past occupants rather than a complete, independently verified ownership history. Realtor.com’s sale coverage also names Aaron Paul among the home’s recent residents.

Paul bought the property from actor Jim Parsons in 2019 for $6.95 million, according to Architectural Digest and Mansion Global. Paul described Aberdeen as “a safe haven for my family” and said his family felt lucky to have experienced so much life there. Mansion Global quoted him calling it “a home with a deep soul” and praising the respect previous owners had shown for its original finishes.

What features may have shaped its appeal?

Architectural Digest and Mansion Global describe a secluded, landscaped property of about 1.5 acres near Griffith Park. Reported listing amenities include a pool, cold plunge, koi pond, fire pit, amphitheater, terraces, and patios. Together with the preserved architectural details, those features help explain why the property was presented as more than a conventional Los Angeles house.

They do not, however, establish a market value. The available reports do not provide an appraisal or comparable-sales analysis that isolates the value of the grounds, architecture, or celebrity history. The home’s story and character may have contributed to its appeal, but the evidence does not prove that those qualities objectively justified the initial asking price.

What does the gap between asking and sale prices mean?

The $7.495 million reported closing price was below both the later asking price of around $8.2 million and the initial ask of just under $10 million. Because the starting figure was reported as just under $10 million, it would be misleading to describe the difference as an exact $2.5 million reduction from a precise $10 million price. The sequence is best read as a listing that entered the market at a high asking level, was repriced, and ultimately sold below those asks.

That comparison does not reveal why the final price differed from the asking prices. Without valuation or comparable-sale evidence, it cannot show how much the home’s architecture, amenities, or reported celebrity lineage contributed to the outcome.
