Hong Kong’s Buildings Department is investigating reported reinforcement discrepancies at One Stanley after an owner’s complaint. The department has said its checks found no obvious or imminent danger, but later inspection work reportedly found some reinforcement configurations differed from approved plans. The inquiry is continuing, and the available reporting does not establish that 24 houses have sold.
What triggered the One Stanley investigation?
One Stanley is a luxury residential development in Stanley, Hong Kong. Has the developer agreed to fix any confirmed error?
The developer said it was cooperating with the authorities and would remediate if an error were found. That is a stated commitment; it does not establish that remediation has been completed or that responsibility has been determined. HK01, 4 October 2026

The exact claim that 24 luxury houses have sold is not established by the available reporting. Sales milestones can change over time, and broader project sales figures should not be treated as a count of detached houses sold without a dated source that specifically supports that figure.
