Commercial Metals Company (CMC) announced on October 1, 2026, that it earned Great Place To Work Certification in the United States, Poland and China. CMC also reported that 82% of its employees said the company is a great place to work. That is a company-reported survey result, not an independent assessment.
Did CMC earn Great Place To Work Certification in 2026?
Yes. CMC’s October 1, 2026 announcement says the construction solutions provider earned Great Place To Work Certification in three countries: the United States, Poland and China. The announcement identifies CMC as Commercial Metals Company, headquartered in Irving, Texas, and says it employs more than 13,000 people worldwide. CMC’s announcement describes its products and solutions as including rebar, soil stabilization and foundation enhancement solutions, concrete pipe, and precast products.
What did CMC employees say in the Great Place To Work survey?
CMC reported that 82% of its employees said CMC is a Great Place To Work, compared with 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Both figures come from CMC’s announcement; the release does not provide survey sample size, field dates, response rate or detailed methodology, so the comparison should be read as reported rather than as a verified like-for-like measurement.
What does the certification mean?
Great Place To Work says certification is based on employee feedback and a data-driven process. It describes certification as a first step toward consideration for its Best Workplaces lists, not as a list placement in itself.
