Pennsylvania residents can share feedback with PennDOT through its online 2026 Construction/Maintenance Customer Satisfaction Survey, which the department says is open through October 20, 2026. PennDOT describes the 17-question survey as covering road-information channels, experiences with construction and maintenance work, reporting concerns, and use of 511PA.
How to give PennDOT feedback
Use PennDOT’s 2026 Construction/Maintenance Customer Satisfaction Survey online. PennDOT’s September 29, 2026 announcement says the survey remains open through October 20, 2026. The announcement does not specify eligibility requirements or an estimated completion time.
What PennDOT says the survey covers
PennDOT says the 17 questions ask participants about:
- How they receive information about roadways.
- How often construction and maintenance activities meet or exceed expectations.
- Experiences reporting concerns.
- Whether or how they use 511PA.
The linked survey page did not display its individual prompts in the retrieved version, so the exact wording and any additional survey conditions are not established here.

Why PennDOT is asking for feedback
PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll said the annual survey helps the department identify successes and opportunities and understand how the public receives road information. PennDOT’s September announcement also reported that more than 2,600 road miles were improved and work advanced on 373 state and local bridges from January through August 2026. These are figures reported by the department, not independently audited findings.
The same announcement said that, under the Shapiro Administration, more than 21,800 miles had been improved statewide and work had advanced on nearly 2,000 state and local bridges. PennDOT did not specify the measurement period for those cumulative figures.
