Turner Construction announced on September 30, 2026, that it was selected as one of eight contractors for the U.S. Air Force’s Facilities Acquisitions for Restoration and Modernization (FARM) III program. The program’s $900 million figure is the combined ceiling for a multiple-award contract—not a $900 million award to Turner or guaranteed revenue for any selected contractor. Specific projects are handled through individual task orders.
What FARM III covers
FARM III supports military ground-testing facilities, including work at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC). The Air Force solicitation describes a scope spanning utilities and facility restoration and modernization. Turner’s announcement lists mechanical and electrical work, instrumentation, data systems and controls, design-build services, and construction.
The program’s broad scope describes the kinds of work that may be procured; it does not establish that Turner has received a particular project or will perform every listed service. The SAM.gov solicitation, updated May 18, 2026, provides official solicitation background and scope. Turner’s later announcement provides the selection details.
What the $900 million ceiling means for Turner
FARM III is a multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. The $900 million is the combined program ceiling reported by Turner, not an individual Turner contract value, a minimum order, or proof that the ceiling will be spent. Work is expected to be awarded through individual task orders. The announcement does not identify a Turner task order or its value, so it does not establish how much revenue Turner may receive.

Turner’s selection and contract period
Turner says it was selected as one of eight contractors. The company also states that the contracting period extends through September 4, 2034. That date is the period Turner gave in its September 30 announcement; the earlier SAM.gov solicitation page predates the selection announcement.
How FARM III builds on earlier work
Turner says its selection builds on work it delivered through FARM I and FARM II at AEDC, including restoration, modernization, and reconfiguration of facilities and infrastructure. This is Turner’s description of its own prior work, not an independent evaluation of performance or a forecast of FARM III results.

Agnes Pope, SPD Project Manager at Turner, said the company was proud to continue its relationship with AEDC and support the Air Force through FARM III. Pope cited Turner’s experience with the facilities and understanding of AEDC’s mission as relevant to infrastructure improvements intended to advance testing capabilities. Those comments express the company’s view of its role; they do not confirm a specific project award.
