When and where will work affect traffic?
The work is at 3500 Bannock Highway and supports construction of the clubhouse at Riverside Golf Course. The City’s October 5, 2026 announcement says the work is planned for October 7–8. A separate City-posted traffic report for the week of October 5 identifies water-service installation and lane closures on Bannock Highway and Johnny Creek Road from October 7 through October 9. The notices do not explain the different end dates, so motorists should rely on posted traffic control for conditions on site.
What should drivers and golfers expect?
The City warns of possible lane restrictions, delays and limited access to the golf course’s main parking areas. Motorists should slow down, use caution and follow signs and directions around the work zone.
- Golfers should allow extra time before tee times.
- Follow posted traffic and parking signs, and use designated parking areas.
- Do not park in a way that blocks or restricts neighborhood access.
How does the utility work relate to the clubhouse?
The utility connections support construction of the new two-story Connections Credit Union Clubhouse at Riverside Golf Course. The City describes a building of approximately 3,700 square feet, with basement-level golf-cart storage, a golf simulator, restaurant, pro shop and approximately 1,600 square feet of patio.

In its September 8, 2026 access update, the City said the clubhouse was scheduled to be ready for the 2027 golf season. That is the City’s stated schedule, not a guaranteed opening date.
