What space heater deals does the roundup list?
The Bob Vila roundup names heaters across several categories, from compact personal warmers to room heaters and outdoor patio models. Its examples below illustrate the offers reported on October 6, 2026; they are not a live price feed or a comparative test.

These figures and product descriptions come from the Bob Vila roundup. Amazon’s event announcement says Prime Big Deal Days offers are limited-time and can sell out. A marked-down price can change or disappear, so verify it on the listing and at checkout.
Choose a heater for the space and job
Start with where the heat is needed and how long the heater will run. The roundup covers several kinds of products, but it does not provide a consistent test of room coverage, noise, energy efficiency, or performance across models. Treat feature lists as descriptions, not proof that one heater is the best performer.

Personal warmth at a desk
A small ceramic heater such as the Amazon Basics 500W Mini is positioned for personal use. That makes it a different kind of purchase from a heater intended to circulate warmth through a larger room. Check the manual for the model’s placement requirements and operating limits.
Supplemental heat in a room
Ceramic heaters and oil-filled radiators are among the types in the roundup. A ceramic tower is a compact option often presented with directional or oscillating airflow; an oil-filled radiator warms through a heated oil-filled body and is typically a floor-standing format. The roundup does not establish comparable coverage or measured efficiency, so use the product specifications and manual to confirm whether a particular model suits the room.

Patio use and combination appliances
The roundup also names outdoor-rated patio heaters and fan-and-heater combinations, including Shark and Dyson products. An indoor portable heater should not be assumed suitable for outdoor use: check the exact model’s rating and instructions for the intended environment. Combination devices may bundle heating with air movement or purification, but the roundup does not supply a comparable performance assessment.
Check safety information, not just sale-page bullets
Overheat protection and tip-over shutoff are useful features to identify in a listing, but their mention does not establish that a product is safe in every circumstance or that certification claims are valid. In a February 2024 preliminary assessment, Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Human Factors staff found safety disclosures missing or inadequate on most of the online heater listings they reviewed, and noted concerning marketing images and possible counterfeit certification marks in reviewed samples. That assessment applies to the samples examined, not every heater or any specific model in this sale. - Keep it away from bedding, curtains, furniture, and other combustible materials; the Bob Vila article advises at least 3 feet of clearance. Follow the specific model’s instructions if they set placement requirements.

Bob Vila gives an illustrative estimate of 1.5 kilowatt-hours per hour and about 26 cents per hour for a 1,500-watt heater running continuously on high, using an electricity rate of $0.17 per kilowatt-hour. That is a calculation under those stated assumptions, not a guaranteed bill estimate: local electricity rates differ, and thermostat cycling can reduce actual consumption.
