JK Cement Limited was reportedly fined ₹2,64,500 by the Registrar of Companies (ROC), Uttar Pradesh I, over delayed filings related to Significant Beneficial Owners (SBOs). ScanX reported on 6 October 2026 that the order also imposed ₹90,800 penalties on each of four company officers. JK Cement’s announcements index lists an item titled “ROC ORDER_SBO,” but the detailed order text was not available in the material reviewed.

What the reported ROC order says

ScanX says JK Cement received the order on 6 October 2026. Its account describes a penalty concerning delayed Form BEN-2 filings and cites Section 90(11) of the Companies Act, 2013. The company’s official announcements index lists “ROC ORDER_SBO,” corroborating that JK Cement posted an announcement about an SBO-related ROC order; the index entry alone does not establish the order’s detailed findings.

According to ScanX, the company made a voluntary application for adjudication under Section 454. The report says the filing issue involved Section 90(4) of the Companies Act, 2013, read with Rule 4 of the Companies (Significant Beneficial Owners) Rules, 2018. The underlying order was not available to independently confirm the specific filing dates, duration of delay, circumstances, or regulator’s reasoning.

What Form BEN-2 and an SBO filing concern

In the report’s account, Form BEN-2 is the filing associated with disclosures of Significant Beneficial Owners. The reported penalty relates to delayed filings under the cited company-law provisions, rather than a construction-site or cement-product issue. The available information does not establish which particular filings were late or identify the people or interests disclosed in them.

Financial impact and what remains unconfirmed

ScanX reports that JK Cement said the order would have no major financial impact on its operations. That is the company’s reported assessment, not an independent evaluation of the effect on its finances.

The available information does not establish whether the penalties have been paid, whether an appeal has been filed, or what further terms the order contains. JK Cement’s index confirms the announcement title, while the amounts, named officers, legal provisions, and process details above are reported by ScanX.
