The $285 price often cited for the full set was its 2024 launch price; Lenox and Macy’s listed it at $299 on October 5, 2026, when Lenox’s product page showed it out of stock.
What is the Lenox Spice Village?
It is a collection of porcelain spice jars shaped like miniature Victorian homes. Lenox introduced the original Spice Village in 1989 and relaunched it as a second edition in 2024. The collection’s nostalgic look helped it attract renewed attention, but it is also designed to hold spices.
The Knot reported on September 30, 2024, that more than 25,000 people had signed up for notifications about the second edition. That was a reported signup count at the time, not a measure of current demand. Jennifer DiBenedetti, Lenox’s vice president of marketing, told The Knot: “The resurgence of nostalgic decor on TikTok and across social media certainly played a part in helping to create the perfect moment to reintroduce this highly sought-after collectible.” She added, “But the relaunch of the Spice Village was inspired by the overwhelming enthusiasm from our customers.”
What comes in the 24-piece set?
The main set contains 24 hand-painted porcelain jars, one for each of these spices: rosemary, oregano, basil, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic, saffron, bay, tarragon, ginger, thyme, parsley, marjoram, mustard, clove, coriander, sage, paprika, onion, chive, pepper, celery and dill.

Each jar is listed at approximately 3 inches high by 1.75 inches wide and deep, with a 5-ounce capacity. The set is the containers only: spices and the matching rack are not included. Lenox specifies hand washing.
What did the Spice Village cost in 2024, and what did it cost on October 5, 2026?
The $285 full-set price widely repeated in coverage was the launch-era price in 2024, not a current offer. Good Morning America reported the launch prices on September 12, 2024; The Knot’s September 30, 2024 coverage also described the full-set price as matching the original 1989 price.
