The Cinema Light Box Super Perfect DIY is a customizable illuminated sign for short messages and decorative displays—not a conventional room light. Somya Tiwari’s 2018 review describes an A4-style board with plastic letters and even-looking illumination, but notes edge light leakage and modest output. Details such as dimensions, letter count, and power options vary by listing, so check the exact version before ordering.
What the Cinema Light Box is—and what it is not
This product is a light-up message board: slide plastic characters into horizontal tracks to create a short sign for a home, office, shop, event, or photo setup. Thetechhacker reviewer Somya Tiwari described it as decorative lighting, not as a way to illuminate a room. The available sources give no measured lumen output, power draw, or color-temperature result, so it is best judged as a display accent rather than task lighting.
Size and included characters depend on the listing
Specifications do not line up perfectly across the available product pages. Treat them as descriptions of particular versions, not universal specifications for every Cinema Light Box.
| Source and version | Reported size | Character details |
|---|---|---|
| Thetechhacker review, 2018 | A4 light area; approximately 30 × 22 cm, with 6 cm depth, as described by the reviewer | 90 plastic letters, according to the reviewer |
| Nykaa Fashion Awestuffs listing | 32 × 23 × 6 cm | Not stated in the cited listing details |
| Ubuy Australia listing Q&A | Not stated in the cited Q&A | Its answer says one variant includes 90 letters and numbers, with uppercase characters and nine characters per row |
The Nykaa page identifies the material as plastic and names Rapidx Solutions as seller and manufacturer, with India as the country of origin. Those facts apply to that listing. It showed the selected size/color as sold out when accessed; stock status can change.

How bright is it?
Tiwari reported diffuse, even-looking illumination, with some light escaping around the edges, and said they would have preferred stronger output. That is one reviewer’s impression, not an independent brightness test. No credible source in the available material reports lumens or a controlled comparison, so there is no sound basis for a numerical brightness claim.
The practical implication is that the box may make lettering visible and add a glow to a display, while not necessarily delivering the punch of a dedicated sign or room lamp. If brightness matters for your setting, look for buyer photos or a hands-on review of the exact version you plan to buy.

Power options: check before choosing a version
Power descriptions differ. Tiwari’s review mentions a power bank, a power brick, and AA cells. INRDeals describes USB and non-rechargeable AA battery power for related Awestuffs models, but does not establish that every version uses the same arrangement. The sources do not reliably establish battery quantity or whether batteries are included.
Before checkout, confirm the connector, whether a USB cable or adapter is supplied, the required battery type and count, and whether the board can operate from batteries or USB on the version being sold. Do not assume the power details from one listing apply to another.

Will the letters fit your message?
The 2018 review reports 90 plastic letters. For a separate product variant, Ubuy Australia’s listing Q&A says the characters are uppercase, nine fit in a row, and extra character packs are not available for that listing. These are retailer-page answers for that specific product, not independently verified specifications for all boxes.
Plan a message within the row limit stated for the exact listing, and check which letters, numbers, and symbols are included. If you expect to change messages often, spare-character availability matters: a missing or heavily used letter could limit what you can spell, and extra packs may not be sold for every version.

Build, warranty, and the 2018 score
Tiwari described a plastic body and said the printed plastic letters seemed durable, while advising careful handling. The review also mentions a one-year guarantee for the lighting. These are historical review claims from 2018; they do not establish current warranty coverage for a different seller, country, or listing.
Thetechhacker published a score of 4.2 in its November 8, 2018 review. The page labels categories including Design, Display, and Value for money, but does not clearly explain its scoring method. This is the publisher’s old review score, not a current average of customer ratings.
