The headline item was the returning 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly, announced at its original $299 price. That was the 2025 launch announcement—not a promise of today’s price, stock or local availability.
What Home Depot announced for 2025
The collection paired the 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly with smaller companion figures and a separate animated product. Home Depot’s launch announcement gave the following details:
| Product | Announced height and features | 2025 announced price |
|---|---|---|
| Giant-Sized Skelly | 12 feet; returning flagship yard skeleton | $299, described as its original price |
| Ultra Skelly | 6.5 feet; animated and app-controlled, with 18 LCD LifeEyes options | Not stated in the 2025 announcement |
| Sitting Skelly’s Dog | 5 feet; new, with LCD eyes | Not stated in the 2025 announcement |
| Skelly’s Cat | 5 feet; new, with LED lighting | Not stated in the 2025 announcement |
| Skelly’s Dog | 7 feet; returning companion figure | Not stated in the 2025 announcement |
These are Home Depot’s launch descriptions, not independent performance testing. The announcement does not establish a reliable current price or side-by-side inventory comparison for the products.
How the 12-foot Skelly differs from Ultra Skelly
Giant-Sized Skelly: the large yard figure
The 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly is the collection’s oversized yard decoration. Home Depot’s currently reviewed product listing identifies model 24SV24386 and describes poseable arms and eight LCD LifeEyes options. It also says the light kit is sold separately. A current model number or listing should not be treated as proof of the precise 2025 SKU or historical availability.

Ultra Skelly: the animated, app-controlled figure
Ultra Skelly is a distinct 6.5-foot product, not an app-controlled version of the 12-foot flagship. Home Depot’s 2025 announcement described Bluetooth interaction, five preset recordings, custom recordings of up to 30 seconds with voice modulation, app-controlled lighting, movement and interaction, and 18 LCD LifeEyes options.
Which accessories are separate, and what should you check?
The current 12-foot Skelly listing says its light kit is sold separately. Home Depot’s corporate product overview also identifies a 12-Foot Skeleton Accessory Kit, a 12-Foot Skelly Eye Kit and a servo model for head movement. It describes the eye kit as a replacement for the existing eyes and says it fits all Skelly models. Because accessory listings and model generations can differ, verify the live item page and compatibility notes before ordering.

Home Depot’s lighting instructions show a 2025 cable configuration alongside configurations for other Skelly generations. They list eight light modes: color changing, red, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple and white. The instructions recommend at least two people for installation. If you own an older Skelly, compare its cable layout with the instructions for the accessory you plan to use rather than assuming the installation is identical.
What to verify before buying or making plans
- Price: The $299 figure is the price stated in Home Depot’s 2025 announcement. A currently reviewed listing also showed $299, but that is a changeable listing snapshot, not a guarantee of today’s price.
- Local availability: Check the live listing and your local store. Home Depot cautions that store prices may vary and inventory cannot be guaranteed; a product page alone does not establish that an item is in stock near you.
- Product identity: Confirm the name, model and included components on the current listing, particularly if comparing a current product with the 2025 announcement.
- Separate accessories: Check whether lighting, replacement eyes or movement accessories are included or sold separately, and confirm compatibility with your figure’s generation.
Storage: choose by dimensions, not the product name
For seasonal storage, Home Depot’s 2025 announcement identified its Home Accents Holiday Décor Storage Bag and a Husky 170 Gallon Pro Grip Storage Tote. It described the tote as protection for larger skeletons stored in garages or crawl spaces, but did not establish that every disassembled Skelly fits either container.

Before buying a storage container, measure the disassembled figure and compare those measurements with the container’s interior dimensions. Follow the figure’s instructions for disassembly and storage, and keep components out of conditions the manual disallows. The announcement does not provide a universal fit or a detailed storage procedure.
