The LaserPecker LP4 is a compact engraver built around two laser sources: a 10W, 450 nm blue diode and a 2W, 1064 nm infrared laser. Its strongest reason to consider it is access to both source types in one machine; its key constraint is a standard work area of 160 × 120 mm. Whether it fits depends on the materials you plan to mark, the size of your objects, and whether its software and optional accessories suit your setup.
This is a specification-based review, not a hands-on assessment. LaserPecker’s product information and support documentation describe capabilities and requirements, but do not establish engraving quality, setup experience, reliability, or durability across real projects.
What the LP4 is—and what its dual lasers mean
LaserPecker identifies the LP4 as a portable dual-laser engraver. It combines a 10W, 450 nm blue diode source with a 2W, 1064 nm infrared source. The manufacturer’s LP4 product page and support FAQ present these as two different tools for different material use cases, not as interchangeable settings or simultaneous beams.
The LP4’s guide instructs users to choose the laser source according to the material; the sources cannot operate at the same time. The manufacturer lists a broad range of compatible material categories, but that compatibility list is a starting point rather than a guarantee of equal results. Material formulation, finish, settings, and the actual working environment matter.

Which source is relevant to your material?
LaserPecker’s FAQ lists materials across the two sources, including wood, leather, paper, fabric, dark or opaque acrylic, coated metals, metals, and plastics. Before buying, check the manufacturer’s current material guidance for the specific material and finish you intend to use, then confirm the required source and settings. The LP4 Buying Guide advises adjusting recommended parameters for the material, engraving environment, and actual conditions.
Work area: measure your projects before choosing
The stated standard working area is 160 × 120 mm. LaserPecker specifies an expanded area of 160 × 300 mm when used with its Slide Extension. These are the manufacturer’s stated working dimensions; they should not be mistaken for an unrestricted ability to engrave objects of any size or shape.
If your regular work includes pieces longer than 160 mm, the Slide Extension is the directly relevant accessory in the manufacturer’s specifications. Compare the working dimensions with the actual area you need to mark, including how an object must be positioned and whether its shape calls for a rotary accessory. Verify the extension’s current compatibility and regional package contents before ordering.

Speed claims and what they do not tell you
LaserPecker lists a maximum working speed of up to 4,000 mm/s and a preview speed of up to 16,000 mm/s. These are manufacturer specifications, not a promise that a completed engraving will run at either speed. The FAQ says actual working speed varies with file format, image resolution, power, and depth settings. A job’s useful speed therefore depends on the design and material as well as the selected settings.

The product page lists LaserPecker Design Space and LightBurn as supported software. For mobile, it lists Bluetooth 5.0; for PC, USB or Bluetooth using a dongle. The support FAQ lists iOS 9.0 and Android 7.0 for mobile, and macOS 10 and Windows 10 for PC. These are manufacturer-listed requirements; check the current software and connection requirements for your particular phone or computer before purchase.
Safety, package contents, and workspace
LaserPecker says a safety shield and goggles intended to protect against the LP4’s 450 nm and 1064 nm light sources are included in the package. That is the manufacturer’s statement, not an independent safety assessment. Follow the current manual and operating instructions, use the specified protective equipment, and assess smoke management for the material and workspace before operating the machine.

Optional accessories to consider
LaserPecker’s US store lists the Slide Extension, Rotary Extension, Safety Enclosure, Air Purifier, and PowerPack Plus for the LP4. Their availability, compatibility, and inclusion in a bundle may depend on region and package. Check the current listing before treating any accessory as part of the machine’s standard setup.
- Slide Extension: the manufacturer specifies a 160 × 300 mm working area with it, compared with the standard 160 × 120 mm area.
- Rotary Extension: listed as an LP4 accessory; confirm the exact compatibility and whether it suits the objects you plan to engrave.
- Safety Enclosure and Air Purifier: listed accessories that may be relevant to a workspace, but they are not stated to be included in every package.
- PowerPack Plus: listed by the manufacturer as an LP4 accessory; check the current regional listing for its compatibility and package details.

Who the LP4 may suit—and who should pause
It may fit if
- Your projects benefit from having both a blue diode and an infrared laser, and the manufacturer’s material guidance supports the specific materials you use.
- Your typical work fits within 160 × 120 mm, or the Slide Extension’s stated 160 × 300 mm area is sufficient.
- Your phone or computer, software preference, and connection setup match the manufacturer’s listed options and requirements.
Pause and compare alternatives if
- Your work routinely exceeds the stated area even with the Slide Extension, or depends on dimensions or material performance not established by the manufacturer’s specifications.
- You need independently verified engraving quality, setup time, durability, or reliability before committing; those performance questions are not answered by the available product documentation.
- Your decision depends on a particular regional price, stock status, package contents, or accessory availability. Those details need confirmation from the current seller in your region.
What this review can and cannot establish
The manufacturer’s documentation establishes the LP4’s stated laser sources, work area, maximum speed claims, software and connection options, and listed accessories. It does not establish independent results for engraving quality across materials, practical job times, ease of setup, long-term reliability, or durability. There is no verified competitor comparison here, so the LP4 cannot be ranked as best, fastest, or better value than a named alternative on this evidence.
For a purchase decision, compare the machine with any alternatives on the laser type and source power relevant to your material, usable project dimensions, software and device compatibility, and the accessories you would actually need. Confirm current regional pricing, stock, and package details directly with the seller.
