Hamilton Beach Commercial’s product range also identifies the HMD200, HMD400, Mix ’n Chill 94950, and HMD900. The range page says the company’s drink mixers were found in over 70% of the Top 250 U.S. restaurant chains as of 2017; that is a historical company-published figure, not a current market-share measure. How to interpret vendor-reported speed claims
In an April 22, 2024 company article, Hamilton Beach Commercial reported illustrative average times for the HMD880 of 10 seconds for a soft-serve shake and 15 seconds for a shake with mix-ins; for the HMD1000, it reported 5 seconds and 10 seconds, respectively. These are manufacturer claims, not independent test results, so they should not be treated as a head-to-head performance comparison.
