If your Philips Respironics SimplyGo will not turn on, is not triggering a pulse, seems to deliver oxygen at a lower concentration, or is alarming, start with the external checks in the SimplyGo user manual. If an alarm persists, oxygen delivery remains a concern, or you suspect an internal fault, contact your home-care provider; repairs and adjustments are for authorized service personnel only.
Before troubleshooting: protect oxygen delivery
Do not change your prescribed oxygen setting to try to correct a device problem. If you are concerned that you are not receiving the oxygen prescribed to you, contact your home-care provider promptly for instructions. Do not open the concentrator or attempt internal repairs.
- Use only the SimplyGo AC power supply, SimplyGo batteries, and approved SimplyGo accessories. Philips warns that incompatible parts can degrade performance. Philips Respironics SimplyGo User Manual
- Keep the ventilation openings unobstructed.
- Do not operate the unit without the battery installed and working.
- Inspect power cords, cables, and the power supply for wear or damage. Stop using damaged items and arrange replacement.
Philips states that repairs and adjustments must be performed by Philips Respironics authorized service personnel only. Philips Respironics SimplyGo User Manual

Why is my SimplyGo not delivering a pulse?
SimplyGo senses breathing through the cannula to trigger a pulse. Check the breathing connection and tubing before assuming the unit has an internal fault.

If these checks do not resolve the problem, contact your home-care provider; the manual identifies device malfunction as a reason to seek help. Do not treat a missed pulse as a reason to alter your prescribed oxygen setting. Philips Respironics SimplyGo User Manual
What if the oxygen does not seem to be at full concentration?
The manual identifies warm-up as a possible cause and says to allow 20 minutes for delivery at the prescribed concentration. If the concern persists after that interval, contact your home-care provider. Do not rely on the warm-up period to address ongoing symptoms or a recurring problem. What does a SimplyGo alarm mean?
Use the manual’s “Alarm Indicators and Screen Symbols” section to identify the specific alert shown on your device. SimplyGo uses both audio and visual indicators, and an alarm’s meaning depends on the indicator. If the alarm is persistent or unclear, contact your home-care provider rather than guessing at its cause or trying an unverified reset. Philips Respironics SimplyGo User Manual
SimplyGo battery charging and replacement
For first-time charging, the manual calls for AC power and at least four uninterrupted hours. Subsequent full charging takes four hours or less, according to the same manual. Philips Respironics SimplyGo User Manual
