Maschmeyer Concrete Company announced on September 28, 2026, that it acquired Ready Mix USA’s Atlanta-area ready-mix and recycled-concrete assets, marking what the company calls its first acquisition outside Florida. Maschmeyer says the network includes 17 ready-mix locations, three recycled-aggregate locations and more than 230 team members, and that the facilities will operate under the Maschmeyer brand.
What Maschmeyer acquired in the Atlanta area
Maschmeyer describes the transaction as an acquisition of Ready Mix USA’s Atlanta-area ready-mix and recycled-concrete assets. The company reported these figures in its September 28 announcement:
- 17 ready-mix locations
- Three recycled-aggregate locations
- More than 230 team members
Ready-mix operations supply concrete prepared for delivery to construction projects. Recycled-aggregate operations process or supply aggregate reclaimed from concrete and other materials. The announcement does not provide site-by-site capacities, product specifications or customer volumes.
Maschmeyer says the acquired network serves a range of construction customers in the Atlanta market. Its current locations page lists Atlanta-area entries including Locust Grove, Marietta, Buford, Villa Rica, Jasper, Stockbridge, Douglasville and Alpharetta. That published list may change and is not a legal schedule of the acquired assets. Maschmeyer’s locations page

What changes for the facilities and employees
Maschmeyer said the facilities would operate under its brand and CEO Steve Bishop said the company was proud to welcome more than 230 team members. The announcement describes the intended branding and welcome; it does not establish that every site has completed a rebrand or specify operational changes, leadership arrangements or employment terms.
Bishop said: “Atlanta is a dynamic and growing market, and we are excited to bring the Maschmeyer name, culture, and commitment to customer service to Georgia.” The company did not attach a market-growth statistic or quantify the acquisition’s expected effect on supply, capacity or service.
