That is a current starting price for one model, not a price range for the full FAKRO lineup; choose a size on the listing to see variant details. You can also look for a local seller through FAKRO’s dealer locator or check retailers such as Home Depot for specific models. Confirm the exact size, local availability and final price before ordering.
What does a FAKRO attic ladder cost?
The clearest published U.S. price is the LST insulated scissor ladder, listed by the FAKRO U.S. store from $1,027 when accessed in 2026. The store marks the product available, gives an eight-working-day lead time and says delivery is free for U.S. online-store purchases. These are listing details, so check the page and checkout for current availability and the price of the size you select.
This one listing does not establish a brand-wide price range. FAKRO sells different ladder types and configurations, and the available evidence does not provide comparable prices across models, sizes, sellers or installation labor. Ask for a quote on the exact model and opening rather than treating the LST starting price as the cost of any FAKRO ladder.

Retailer listings
Home Depot lists the FAKRO LWP 66801, an insulated wood ladder for a 22.5 × 47-inch rough opening. A listing does not guarantee stock at a particular store or a stable price. Check the listing or contact the retailer for local availability and current terms.

How to compare models before buying
FAKRO’s range includes insulated wood and metal ladders, scissor-style models, high-ceiling options, electric ladders and fire-rated products. Compare the actual model specifications with your space and requirements; the name “FAKRO attic ladder” does not describe one standard configuration. The manufacturer’s attic-ladder overview and 2026 catalog describe the product range.
- Opening and ceiling height: Measure the rough opening and floor-to-ceiling height, then check the selected model’s size table. For example, the LWP specification lists a 22.5 × 47-inch rough opening for model 66801. Other sizes and models have their own requirements.
- Deployment space: Check the ladder’s projection and the clear landing area. Use the selected model’s specifications rather than assuming another ladder’s dimensions will fit.
- Insulation: Compare the manufacturer’s stated R-value and hatch construction if the attic opening is part of your home’s insulated boundary. FAKRO lists the LST at R-5.2; its 2026 catalog also lists the LML at R-5.2. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance-test results.
- Load rating: Check the rating for the specific model. FAKRO specifies a maximum loading of 350 lb for the LST; do not apply that figure to other models.
- Material and operation: Choose among folding wood or metal, scissor-style and other mechanisms based on the space and how the ladder will be used. Electric and fire-rated models are distinct options, not interchangeable features.
- Included parts and installation: The LST store listing says the ladder includes installation brackets and white metal trim. Check the selected model’s instructions and included-parts list, and confirm accessory compatibility before ordering.
Could accessories add to the price?
Yes. FAKRO’s accessories store, accessed in 2026, listed LST additional steps from $125 and balustrades from $198. The store also listed an upper hatch from $334, along with trim and handrail items at displayed prices. These are accessory examples, not a complete project or installation budget. Check the FAKRO accessory compatibility information before buying: accessories are model-specific, and an item listed for one ladder may not fit another.

What to confirm before placing an order
- Measure the existing rough opening and floor-to-ceiling height.
- Choose a model whose technical table matches those measurements, and check its projection and landing clearance.
- Confirm the model’s insulation, load rating, included parts and any accessory compatibility you need.
- Check the current price, stock, delivery terms and lead time with the seller. For a local dealer, ask for a quote on the exact model and size.
FAKRO publishes product guidance and LST technical specifications to help with model selection. Installation labor is not included in the published ladder starting price; request a separate installation quote if you need the ladder fitted.
