The YEEDI M12 PRO+ is most compelling as a hard-floor vacuum and mop: its dock empties the robot, washes and dries its mop pads, and refills its water tank, while an extending mop pad helps clean along edges. But it is not a reliable all-surface, hands-off flagship. Independent reviews report weaker carpet pickup and mixed results for navigation, obstacle avoidance, and long-hair handling. It makes the most sense when mopping automation is the priority, the home is mostly hard flooring, and the price is substantially below its official US list price.
Quick verdict
- Best for: Homes with mostly sealed hard floors, routine dust and debris, and owners who want the dock to handle regular mop-pad care.
- Conditional fit: Homes with low-pile rugs, moderate pet hair, and floors cleared of cables, socks, toys, and other small obstacles.
- Look elsewhere if: Your home is carpet-heavy, you need dependable operation around clutter, or you expect the robot to need no attention.

- Biggest concerns: Below-par deep-carpet results in independent testing and conflicting reports about mapping, docking, obstacle avoidance, and hair tangles.
- US price context: On August 18, 2026, YEEDI’s US page listed $899.99 but showed the product sold out; Vacuum Wars listed an Amazon price of $399.99 dated August 17, 2026. Those are different retailer and availability snapshots, not a guaranteed current offer. Check the live listing and stock before buying.
Verdict: Consider it when the full-service mop dock solves a real daily chore and the price is near the roughly $400 marketplace signal. At $899.99, its carpet and reliability limitations make the case much harder.
What the M12 PRO+ includes—and what “Pro+” means
This is a system, not just a robot. The package includes the robot and OMNI station, mop plates and washable pads, side brush, main brush, filter, antibacterial dust bag, power cord, and manual, according to YEEDI’s product page. The “Pro+” proposition is chiefly the dock and its mop-care automation, rather than a promise of class-leading performance on every floor type.
The robot has a 0.3-liter onboard dust box, but debris is transferred to a 3.4-liter disposable bag in the dock. The station also has a 4-liter clean-water tank and a 3.5-liter dirty-water tank. Those larger capacities reduce how often you need to intervene, but do not remove the need to empty, refill, and clean the system.

These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance scores. In particular, 11,000Pa is not a standardized measure of how much debris the robot will lift from a carpet.
The dock is the main reason to buy it
After a cleaning run, the OMNI station can collect debris from the robot, wash the mop pads with warm or hot water, dry them with hot air, and refill the robot’s internal water tank. YEEDI lists a 158°F wash; Tech Advisor reported approximately 160°F/70°C. The station’s cleaning tray can be detached for maintenance.
That workflow cuts down the repetitive work of rinsing mop pads after every run. It does not make ownership maintenance-free: you still have to empty the dirty-water tank, refill clean water, replace the dust bag, clean the tray, and inspect the pads, filter, brushes, wheels, and sensors. Leaving dirty water too long can also make odors a problem. For detergent, follow YEEDI’s M12 PRO+ support guidance rather than assuming a household or third-party cleaner is compatible.
Measure the station before buying. Its listed footprint is about 16.1 by 19.3 inches, and the water tanks are accessed from above. Tech Advisor found its setup needed about 20 inches of clearance on each side. Allow room to approach the dock, open it, remove both tanks, and reach an electrical outlet. A tight under-counter nook may fit the base but make routine maintenance awkward. Put it on a level, stable surface rather than a loose or uneven rug, and consider the listed 80dBA dust-collection noise if the dock will sit near bedrooms or a work area.

Vacuuming: confident on hard floors, less convincing on carpet
On hard floors, the M12 PRO+ is suited to the ordinary messes a robot can handle: dust, crumbs, and loose hair. Its advertised suction is substantial on paper, but independent testing shows why that number should not be treated as a carpet guarantee. Vacuum Wars found strong airflow and generally good pickup, but weaker deep-carpet and crevice cleaning. Tech Advisor also found thicker-carpet pickup weak.
TechGearLab’s testing was harsher: it reported roughly half of the tested carpet debris picked up and said the robot could push some material around rugs and rug edges. Test methods and homes differ, but the combined evidence points to a clear buying boundary: everyday hard-floor debris is its natural job; low-pile rugs are a reasonable secondary task; deep cleaning thick carpet, embedded sand, or demanding crevices is not.
The robot is about 104mm (4.1 inches) tall, so check the clearance under furniture you expect it to clean. Its 0.3-liter dust box is relatively small, although the station empties it into the larger bag. On rugs, the 9mm pad lift helps keep routine mopping from wetting carpet, but says nothing about how well the vacuum removes embedded debris.

The robot uses two rotating mop pads with electronically controlled water delivery. YEEDI lists three moisture settings, and the app supports vacuum-only, mop-only, combined vacuum-and-mop, and vacuum-first-then-mop workflows. Its station then washes and dries the pads, so the advantage is not only how the robot scrubs, but also that pads are less likely to sit wet and dirty between runs.

In Vacuum Wars’ dried-on stain test, the M12 PRO+ scored 115 out of 176, which the reviewer described as above average. That is encouraging for routine hard-floor mopping, not a guarantee that it will remove every dried or greasy mark in one pass.
TruEdge Adaptive Edge Mopping extends a mop pad toward walls and furniture edges, then can retract around obstacles. YEEDI promotes close edge coverage; Vacuum Wars reported the company’s claim of a 98% improvement and found the extending pad effective in its edge tests. TechGearLab found edge cleaning decent but inconsistent, with residue sometimes left in tight corners after one pass.
These results can coexist. An extending pad can improve reach along a straight wall or cabinet kickboard without making a round robot capable of cleaning every 90-degree corner. Furniture legs, uneven baseboards, and clutter may cause the arm to retract; dried marks can need repeat passes. The side brush can also scatter dry debris near edges. Expect improved wall-side coverage, not perfect corner cleaning.

The mop pads lift 9mm when carpet is detected, according to YEEDI. That can help on ordinary low-pile rugs, but carpet detection and rug geometry vary. Dark surfaces, thresholds, unusual pile, or a valuable rug are good reasons to set a no-mop zone rather than rely on the lift alone. The feature is not a substitute for carpet-specific vacuuming.

ZeroTangle: useful design, not a no-maintenance promise
YEEDI’s ZeroTangle system combines a V-shaped floating main brush with a dual-comb structure intended to guide hair toward the suction path instead of letting it wind around the roller. In Vacuum Wars’ tests, it performed better than many competing anti-hair designs, though it was not perfect in a 7-inch hair test; that reviewer did not find hair around the brush axles. TechGearLab reported a less favorable experience with long hair and heavy shedding, including tangles and interrupted runs that needed manual attention.
The practical takeaway is that the design may reduce hair wrapped around the brush, but does not eliminate brush maintenance. Short fur on hard flooring is a different workload from long human hair, dense pet undercoat, or hair embedded in carpet. Hair can still collect on the roller, side brush, or intake even if the comb structure helps. Pet owners should inspect the brush regularly and should not treat “ZeroTangle” as proof that the robot can manage heavy shedding unattended.

The M12 PRO+ uses LDS/LiDAR navigation and structured-light obstacle sensing. YEEDI says TrueMapping 2.0 can create a map in about six minutes. Vacuum Wars mapped a floor plan in roughly five minutes and found good obstacle performance in one test set, but also recorded a weaker outcome in a newer obstacle “torture test.” TechGearLab reported inconsistent mapping, limited obstacle awareness, remapping, rescues, and occasional trouble finding the dock.
Different object layouts, test protocols, software versions, and homes can produce different results. The evidence does not support treating obstacle avoidance as dependable enough to ignore floor preparation. TechTimes also notes that this model does not offer pet-waste detection, so do not leave it to navigate around pet accidents.

Set it up for success:
- Place the dock on a level surface with an unobstructed approach, and keep it in the same position.
- Before the first map, pick up cords, socks, toys, pet bowls, and loose fabric that could snag or confuse the robot.
- Open the doors to rooms you want included in the map, then check that the map represents the layout correctly.
- Use no-go or no-mop zones around fragile items, problematic thresholds, and rugs you do not want exposed to moisture.
- Supervise the first few cleaning runs. Confirm that it returns to the dock and handles room transitions before scheduling unattended sessions.
The YEEDI app offers scheduling, room and floor customization, cleaning scenarios, suction and water-level settings, and map controls. TechTimes reports support for up to four maps and settings including room type, floor material, cleaning direction, and mop-washing frequency. Vacuum Wars found the app feature-rich and functional during testing, but also noted poor app-store feedback involving setup and mapping. These reports describe different evidence: an available setting is not a guarantee that every user will get reliable maps or docking. App behavior can change with updates; check YEEDI’s support page for current setup and compatibility details.
Battery and real-world coverage
YEEDI lists up to 290 minutes on hard floors in silent vacuum mode, about 220 minutes in standard vacuum mode, and about 200 minutes in standard vacuum-and-mop mode. These are mode-specific manufacturer figures. Older coverage cites an 180-minute figure, so runtime numbers should not be collapsed into a single universal battery claim. The actual area cleaned before a return to the dock depends on suction, mopping, floor type, obstacles, route, and whether the robot needs to recharge or wash its pads. Maximum runtime is not the same as a promise to finish a particular home in one outing.
Maintenance, supplies, and ownership
Expect periodic work on the dust bag, filter, side brush, main brush, mop pads, and station tray, in addition to water-tank handling. YEEDI offers an M12 PRO+ accessories kit; it says the kit includes consumables such as side brushes, filters, dust bags, washable pads, and cleaning solution, and recommends replacing side brushes twice and filters three times per year. Treat those as the manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations, not a guarantee that every part will last exactly that long. Buy only replacements explicitly marked compatible with the M12 PRO+; YEEDI support distinguishes compatibility across related models.

If you already mop infrequently, have little hard flooring, or cannot easily source the correct bags and parts, the automation may not repay the extra complexity.
Price and alternatives
Price changes the verdict. On August 18, 2026, the official US product page showed $899.99 and sold out; Vacuum Wars’ review listed an Amazon price of $399.99 dated August 17, 2026. The marketplace figure is a dated price signal, not a promise of current stock, an ordinary price, or a verified bundle. Check the retailer’s live listing, seller, condition, and checkout total. Near $400, the M12 PRO+ can be a persuasive hard-floor mop system if its limitations suit your home. Near $900, the weaker carpet results and mixed reliability reports are harder to overlook.
Choose by the limitation you most want to avoid rather than by suction headlines alone. Consider a Roborock Qrevo model if mapping or app maturity is a greater priority; an Eufy X10 Pro Omni if obstacle avoidance is central; or a premium Dreame model if stronger carpet performance is worth a higher price. These are comparison directions, not claims that every model in those ranges outperforms the M12 PRO+ in every test. Newer Ecovacs or YEEDI models may also be worth checking if they offer a meaningfully improved platform at a similar sale price. If you mostly want basic vacuuming and occasional mopping, a cheaper robot with fewer dock functions may be better value.
