Verdict: The Roborock Zeo One is a smart, space-saving washer-dryer whose main innovation is zeolite-assisted, moderate-temperature drying. Its appeal is strongest for apartments and households that value one-appliance convenience, remote control, and fabric-care features. The important compromises are its 10 kg wash/6 kg dry capacity split, potentially long combination cycles, app dependence, and uneven regional availability.
What is the Roborock Zeo One?
The Zeo One is Roborock’s front-loading, all-in-one washing machine and dryer. It can wash up to 10 kg of laundry but dry up to 6 kg, making it a single-appliance alternative to separate machines where floor space is limited.
Roborock introduced the product as its first washing-machine category and the Zeo One received recognition as a 2024 CES Innovation Awards Smart Home honoree. CES describes the Zeo One as using AI and sensor control, while Roborock’s product information gives more concrete details about load detection, temperature monitoring, programs, and app controls.

Most important practical limitation: a full 10-kg wash load cannot necessarily be dried in one pass. If the washed load exceeds 6 kg, you may need to remove some items before starting the drying cycle.
How Zeo-cycle drying works
Unlike a conventional condenser-style combination machine that relies primarily on heated air, Roborock’s Zeo-cycle uses zeolite, a desiccant material that absorbs water vapor.
- Moist air leaves the laundry drum and passes toward the zeolite material.
- The zeolite absorbs moisture from that air.
- Drier air is circulated back into the drum.
- A separate regeneration air path removes moisture from the zeolite and restores its absorbing capacity.
Roborock says the system is designed to reduce shrinkage, deformation, discoloration, and damage associated with high heat. Those are manufacturer claims, not independent household-performance results. Roborock also claims a total zeolite vapor-absorption surface area of 288,000 square metres; that figure should be understood as an internal company specification rather than an independently audited benchmark. Roborock positions Zeo-cycle as moderate-temperature drying. Its global product page says the wool wash-and-dry mode stabilizes temperature between 30 and 40°C in internal testing, while Roborock Germany describes wool drying at a maximum of approximately 37°C. These figures apply to the cited wool settings and should not be generalized to every program.
Low temperature does not mean no heat or zero fabric risk. Drying results still depend on load size, material, spin performance, dryness setting, dyes, elastic, coatings, and embellishments. Clothing-care labels remain authoritative, and delicate garments should not automatically be treated as safe simply because a cycle is described as gentle.
Key features
10-kg washing and 6-kg drying
The capacity is appropriate for moderate household laundry, but the mismatch matters. A family may wash a large load and then divide it for drying. This adds handling and removes one of the main conveniences people expect from an all-in-one machine: uninterrupted wash-to-dry operation.
Twenty-seven programs
Roborock lists 27 smart wash-and-dry programs. Examples include Mix, Quick, Eco 40–60, Silk, Down, Air Refresh, Anti-Allergen, Sanitize, Intensive, Gentle, Baby Care, Sports, Bedding, Underwear, and seasonal programs.

Program names, settings, and availability may vary by market, firmware, or app version. Check the regional product page and manual rather than assuming every listed cycle is available in your country.
Automatic detergent and softener dosing
The Zeo One automatically dispenses detergent according to the detected load weight, with dosage settings adjustable in the app. Its listed reservoirs hold 580 mL of detergent and 420 mL of softener.
Roborock estimates up to 30 days of dosing based on a three-person household washing every two days. Actual duration will vary with load size, dosage, detergent concentration, water hardness, and wash frequency. You may also need to change the dosage for unusually small or dirty loads, concentrated detergent, sensitive-skin products, or loads that should not receive softener.
Quick wash and dry
Roborock claims that the Quick Wash & Dry program can wash and dry up to 1 kg in about one hour, with results varying by fabric. This is a small-load claim, not evidence that a normal family load can be completed in 60 minutes.
Laundry Aftercare
Laundry Aftercare circulates air for up to 24 hours to help keep laundry fresh if it cannot be removed immediately. The feature must be manually activated in the Roborock app, so it should not be described as an always-on automatic anti-stale function.
LintClear and pet hair
Roborock says LintClear collects fabric lint and flushes it from the filter through a separate water line. The company explicitly says that “lint” does not mean cat or dog hair.
Pet owners should therefore not buy the Zeo One expecting it to remove all fur. Hair may remain on clothing, the door seal, and other machine surfaces. Filters, seals, detergent compartments, and the drum can still require inspection and cleaning.

Stain and hygiene claims
Roborock advertises removal of stains such as red wine, ketchup, coffee, and lipstick, along with hygienic cleaning aimed at bacteria, mites, pet dander, pollen, and allergens. The product page references TÜV SÜD certifications for stain-removal and hygienic-cleaning claims.

A certification for a defined test result is not a guarantee against every stain or a substitute for medical-grade sterilization. Allergen reduction is also different from complete pet-hair removal.

The published dimensions are approximately 23.4 inches wide, 33.5 inches high, and 26.0 inches deep. Confirm whether the stated depth includes the door, hoses, and required clearance before treating it as the installation depth.
What to expect in daily use
The Zeo One makes the most sense when reducing the number of appliances is more important than maximizing throughput. You can schedule cycles, receive notifications, adjust settings remotely, and use automatic dosing for routine loads. Existing Roborock users may also appreciate keeping another household appliance in the same app ecosystem.
There are still several points to plan around:
- Drying capacity: split loads above 6 kg before drying.
- Cycle length: larger loads, towels, bedding, wool, and high-dryness settings may take much longer than the one-hour quick-cycle claim.
- App dependence: Laundry Aftercare requires manual activation in the app, and features can vary by region or firmware.
- Dosing: automatic dispensing is convenient but may need adjustment for unusual loads and detergents.
- Maintenance: self-cleaning lint handling and drum-clean reminders do not prove that all residue, hair, mildew, or seal buildup is eliminated.
Roborock’s product information says drum-clean reminders appear after 30 wash-and-dry cycles. Follow the regional manual for cleaning and servicing rather than assuming “self-cleaning” means service-free operation.

Before buying, verify the regional installation documentation for:
- Voltage, plug, and electrical requirements
- Water inlet and drain connections
- Door-opening and surrounding clearance
- Floor stability, leveling, and vibration requirements
- Ventilation or heat-clearance requirements
- Warranty, authorized service, and replacement-parts coverage
- Roborock app support in your country
The official support manual warns users not to repair a defective machine themselves and says repairs should be performed by authorized specialists. Its European support information must not be used to infer electrical, regulatory, warranty, or service compatibility in the United States or another region.

Who should buy the Zeo One?
- Apartment residents: one appliance can replace two where space is limited.
- Small and moderate-volume households: the capacity is substantial if loads are not frequent or oversized.
- Remote-control users: scheduling and notifications are useful for people who want laundry status away from home.
- Delicate-fabric users: Zeo-cycle’s lower-temperature positioning may be attractive, provided garments are compatible with machine drying.
- People who forget laundry: Laundry Aftercare can help, but only when manually enabled in the app.
- Existing Roborock users: app familiarity may make the appliance easier to integrate into an existing smart-home routine.
Who should skip it?
Choose another setup if you regularly run multiple loads, need to wash one load while drying another, or must dry a full 10-kg wash load without splitting it. Separate machines generally provide higher total throughput and simultaneous operation, although they require more space and may cost more to install.
The Zeo One is also a poor fit if it is not officially sold or supported in your country, if local service and parts availability are essential, or if you require independent measurements of energy use, noise, drying speed, reliability, or shrinkage. The available evidence establishes Roborock’s specifications and claims, but not those real-world comparative results.

Availability checked August 18, 2026: Roborock’s global Zeo One page directs visitors to availability alerts rather than offering a universal purchase path. Roborock Germany listed the Zeo One at €1,299 but marked it sold out. That is a German price signal, not a U.S. price or proof of U.S. availability.
The Roborock U.S. store reviewed does not show a Zeo One washer-dryer purchase listing. Check the country selector and your local Roborock site for stock, shipping, voltage compatibility, warranty, and authorized service. Avoid unofficial imports unless you have explicitly confirmed customs, installation, parts, warranty, and electrical risks.
Alternatives
Roborock Zeo Lite
Roborock Germany lists the Zeo Lite as a lower-priced Zeo-cycle alternative, with a jog-style control panel and a stated height approximately 2 cm greater than the Zeo One. The page reviewed showed €899, with a former price of €999. Capacities, dimensions, certifications, programs, and availability can differ by market, so verify the local specifications before comparing.
Roborock Zeo Mini
The Zeo Mini is a specialist compact model listed by Roborock Germany at 1 kg wash / 0.5 kg dry / 1,000 rpm, with a price signal of €599 on the page reviewed. It may suit very small spaces or occasional small loads, but it is not a replacement for a full-size family washer-dryer.
Separate washer and dryer
Separate appliances remain the stronger choice for high-volume households. They can wash and dry simultaneously, usually offer greater total throughput, and may have more established local service networks. The trade-off is additional floor space, installation complexity, and cost.
Final verdict
The Roborock Zeo One is a credible and distinctive all-in-one washer-dryer, not simply a conventional combination machine with a new name. Its zeolite-based drying approach, automatic dosing, app control, and fabric-care positioning make it interesting for space-constrained households.
Buy it when it is officially available and supported locally, and when compactness and smart convenience matter more than maximum laundry throughput. Consider the Zeo Lite if it is substantially easier to obtain or cheaper in your market. Choose separate machines if you run heavy laundry volumes, need simultaneous washing and drying, or place serviceability and independently verified performance above app features.
