The reference prices and savings above are those reported by the original roundup; they are not independently verified regular prices. “List,” “MSRP,” and a retailer’s comparison price are not necessarily equivalent. A deal is only actionable when the current checkout page confirms the item, seller, final price and terms.
Which of the three stood out?
- Most broadly appealing at the time: AirPods Pro 2. At $169, the listed price was $80 below the roundup’s $249 reference price. It was the least expensive of the three headline offers and potentially attractive to Apple-device owners looking for noise-cancelling earbuds.
- Largest advertised discount: Roborock Qrevo Master. The claimed saving was about $800, but a large percentage does not establish good value. Floor plan, dock space, maintenance costs and newer models all matter.
- Most practical for carpeted homes: Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe. The original price may have appealed to households dealing with recurring carpet stains, but owning a carpet cleaner also means storing, cleaning and drying the machine.
None should be ranked as a current best buy on the basis of a price from May 2025.

Apple lists features for AirPods Pro 2 including Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, Personalized Spatial Audio, an H2 chip and a USB-C MagSafe Charging Case. Apple states up to six hours of listening time with ANC enabled, or up to 30 hours with the charging case, and an IP54 rating for dust, sweat and water resistance. Apple also describes hearing-related features, including Hearing Test, Hearing Aid and Hearing Protection functions. Requirements and availability vary by region and compatible hardware. Check Apple’s hearing-feature instructions and relevant local requirements. These features should not be treated as a substitute for professional medical advice.
The AirPods Pro product lineup has since moved on: Apple search results include AirPods Pro 3. That makes the decision a generation-versus-price trade-off, not a simple comparison between the old deal and a guaranteed current Apple price. Before buying AirPods Pro 2 today, check the exact model and case, whether it is new or open-box, seller reputation, return policy and warranty. It may suit buyers who prioritize a lower price and Apple integration; Android-first shoppers or people seeking the latest generation should compare other options rather than assuming the 2025 discount still makes it the best choice.

Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe: useful, with ownership costs
The original roundup listed the Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe at $149.99, compared with a $220 reference price, and framed it as a useful option for homes with pets. The historical listing alone does not establish which model number or accessory bundle was included. Before purchasing one now, confirm the model, whether it is new or refurbished, included tools and cleaning solution, warranty coverage, shipping charges and the return policy—especially because a bulky appliance can be inconvenient or expensive to send back.
A carpet cleaner can make sense for a home with carpet and recurring spills if the owner has space to store it and is willing to handle setup, cleaning solution and drying time. It is a poorer fit for a home without carpet, a small apartment with limited storage, or anyone who would rather rent a machine or hire a professional for occasional deep cleans. Delicate rugs, stairs and tight spaces may also require different equipment or extra effort.

Roborock Qrevo Master: don’t buy on the percentage alone
The roundup put the Qrevo Master at $799.99 against a $1,600 reference price and described a robot vacuum-and-mop system with 10,000 Pa suction and FlexiArm side-brush technology. Those specifications and the comparison price come from the historical deal coverage; they do not confirm current stock, configuration or value. Yahoo’s syndicated presentation also shows why product cards should be treated cautiously: some displayed prices do not match the source article’s surrounding text.
A robot vacuum-and-mop system is most compelling when its features suit the home: consider the balance of hard floors and carpet, thresholds, rugs, clutter, dock footprint and room layout. The dock needs a suitable place, and the robot will need ongoing care and replacement consumables. Mopping automation is not a replacement for deep manual cleaning. Check current app support in your region, parts availability, warranty region and return-shipping terms, and compare newer models before treating a steep markdown as decisive. If an app-connected appliance is a concern, consider the account and privacy implications before connecting it.

- Compare generations and alternatives. A discount against a reference price is not enough if the item is superseded or a better-fitting model costs less.
