Samsung launched its QT67 QLED TV series in South Korea on June 28, 2020. The six-size lineup earned Korea’s Grade 1 energy-efficiency rating, but that is a Korean classification—not a universal efficiency label—and QT67 is now an older regional series rather than a current mainstream Samsung range.
What Samsung released
Samsung Korea announced the QT67 as a 4K QLED TV lineup in 43-, 50-, 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch sizes. The Korean 55-inch model, for example, is identified as KQ55QT67AFXKR. The launch announcement and model-specific specifications are available from Samsung Newsroom Korea and Samsung’s Korean support page for the 55-inch model.
This was a South Korean release, not evidence of a U.S. launch. Samsung has used similar names for products in different years and markets; Q67, Q67T, Q67C, Q67D and QD67 should not be assumed to be the same television as QT67. Regional model numbers can differ in tuner, ports, firmware, warranty and specifications.

“Grade 1” refers to the South Korean appliance energy-efficiency classification. Samsung described QT67 as its first QLED TV lineup in Korea to receive that grade. It does not establish that the televisions used less electricity than every competing TV, nor does it mean they carried a U.S. Energy Star certification.

For the Korean 55-inch KQ55QT67AFXKR, Samsung lists these figures:

The 54 W average and 135 W rated figures describe different measures; rated power should not be presented as normal everyday consumption. These specifications apply to the 55-inch Korean model, not automatically to every size or similarly named TV. Actual use varies with size, brightness, picture mode, HDR content, volume, network activity and standby behavior. A larger screen will generally use more power than a smaller one.

Picture and smart-TV features
Samsung’s launch announcement highlighted QLED technology, 4K resolution, Quantum HDR and a 100% color-volume claim. The Korean 55-inch support listing specifies 3,840 × 2,160 resolution, Quantum Processor Lite, HDR10+, HLG, Dual LED, Supreme UHD Dimming and Filmmaker Mode. It lists 60Hz-class operation.
That specification is a useful distinction for buyers comparing older and newer sets: the verified 55-inch QT67 is not a 120Hz gaming model. Samsung’s page also does not list AI picture optimization or AI upscaling for that model.

Connectivity and sound on the 55-inch model
The same Korean support listing gives the KQ55QT67AFXKR Tizen-based smart-TV functions, Wi-Fi 5, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, Ethernet, optical audio output, eARC, Anynet+ HDMI-CEC and Bluetooth audio support. Its built-in audio is rated at 20 W across two channels. The listing does not include Dolby decoding, Object Tracking Sound or Q-Symphony.
Original Korean launch prices
At launch in June 2020, Samsung set prices across the range from ₩990,000 to ₩5,490,000, depending on screen size. Samsung also noted eligibility for a temporary Korean appliance-rebate program that reimbursed 10%, capped at ₩300,000 per person. That was a 2020 program, not a current discount or benefit.

Is QT67 still available in 2026?
As of August 18, 2026, Samsung’s current Korean TV portal presents newer categories such as Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Crystal UHD and Lifestyle TVs, while QT67 appears in support pages for specifications, downloads and service information rather than as a normal current retail offer. The portal is at Samsung Korea’s TV catalog.

The evidence supports treating QT67 as an older 2020 Korean-market series, not claiming that every unit is unavailable worldwide. Any remaining availability is likely to be regional old stock, refurbished or used; that is an inference from the archived support material and current catalog, not a verified inventory statement.

Should you buy a QT67 now?
It may make sense if you find the exact model at a compelling price, can confirm its condition and have local service and compatibility covered. For most buyers, a current local-market television is the safer choice: newer software and support, locally appropriate broadcast standards and warranty terms can matter more than the series’ original efficiency rating.
Before buying a listing described only as “QT67,” check:
- The complete model number and country or region of origin.
- That model’s own energy label and screen-size-specific specifications.
- Tuner compatibility, operating-system language and app availability in your location.
- Voltage, plug, warranty eligibility and available service.
- Whether the unit is new old stock, refurbished or used; check panel condition, hours, dead-pixel terms and return period.
- Included remote, stand, power cable and mounting hardware, plus HDMI capability for your devices and gaming needs.
For U.S. buyers in particular, do not assume a Korean-market set will work with U.S. broadcast standards or receive U.S. warranty support. Avoid treating QD67 as identical to QT67: Samsung’s Korean support results identify QD67 as a separate 2024 QLED 4K family. Its product page is Samsung’s QD67 support listing, and its current product page is Samsung Korea’s QD67 listing.
What to consider instead
If you want a current Samsung set, compare models in the company’s live local catalog rather than relying on the QT67 name. A newer QLED such as the separate QD67 family is a closer category match; Neo QLED is positioned higher, Crystal UHD is a more basic 4K option, and OLED suits buyers prioritizing black levels and cinematic contrast. These are different product categories and trade-offs, not interchangeable QT67 versions. Samsung’s current Korean categories are listed in its TV catalog.
