Use AI to make a short instrumental hook, export a clean version for the opening, and create a longer, softer arrangement for the closing. Keep your spoken voice separate, leave space for it in the arrangement, and confirm the generator’s license before publishing or monetizing the episode.
Plan The Intro And Outro Before Generating
An intro usually needs a recognizable motif that survives a quick fade. An outro can repeat that motif with a calmer ending and enough room for a call to action. Write down the target duration, energy, instruments, and the exact point where speech starts or ends.
- Intro brief: a concise instrumental sting, clear first beat, and a clean ending or tail for your voice-over.
- Outro brief: the same musical identity with a less crowded arrangement and a gradual ending.
- Voice space: ask for restrained midrange instruments when narration must sit over the music.
- Delivery: generate separate music and speech files so you can set levels in your podcast editor.

Write A Prompt For A Podcast Intro
- State the role: “Podcast intro music” tells the generator what the piece must do.
- Set the shape: request a brief opening hit, a simple motif, and a clean ending for narration.
- Control density: specify instrumental music and restrained layers so speech remains intelligible.
- Add the identity: name mood, tempo feel, and a small instrument palette rather than copying a named artist.
- Request a usable ending: ask for a short tail or a decisive stop that can be edited against your spoken welcome.
Example prompt: “Instrumental podcast intro, confident and curious, modern electronic pulse with muted bass and a bright three-note synth motif, uncluttered midrange for voice-over, brief opening impact, clean ending with a short tail.”

Write A Prompt For A Podcast Outro
- Reuse the identity: keep the same mood and motif as the intro so listeners recognize the show.
- Lower the intensity: ask for a gentler arrangement that can sit beneath credits or a call to action.
- Leave room for speech: request fewer simultaneous parts and a stable rhythmic bed.
- Specify the handoff: ask for a gradual fade or a final resolved chord after the last spoken line.
Example prompt: “Instrumental podcast outro matching the previous intro’s curious electronic identity, softer drums, open midrange for a closing message, repeating three-note motif, steady background texture, resolved final chord and optional fade.”

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Edit The Files Around Your Voice
- Trim silence: remove unused lead-in time so the first beat lands where your edit expects it.
- Make two versions: keep a short intro and a longer outro rather than forcing one arrangement to do both jobs.
- Duck under speech: lower the music during narration and restore it between sentences or at the final sign-off.
- Check transitions: listen for clicks, abrupt cuts, and a tail that masks the first word of the episode.
- Export clearly: name files by show, episode, and role, such as “show_intro_music” and “show_outro_music.”
Check Consent And Usage Rights
Do not upload someone else’s voice, recording, or sample unless you have permission. If a service offers voice or reference-audio features, confirm consent requirements and the service’s terms before using another person’s material. For a monetized podcast, verify that your selected plan grants the needed commercial rights; the free and entry tiers above have different restrictions.
