Yes. As of August 18, 2026, Wyze officially lists the Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan as compatible with Health Connect on Android. The connection is authorized in the Wyze app: the scale records a measurement, Wyze passes permitted data to Health Connect, and compatible Android health apps can then read it.
This is not a direct scale-to-Health-Connect pairing. You should also avoid assuming that every BodyScan metric transfers or that Wi-Fi guarantees immediate background syncing.
How the Wyze BodyScan and Health Connect connection works
Wyze’s current, model-specific BodyScan integration documentation lists the following:

- Android: Fitbit and Health Connect
- iPhone and iPad: Fitbit and Apple Health
The data path is:
- The BodyScan takes your measurement.
- The Wyze app records or receives it.
- You authorize Health Connect through Wyze.
- Wyze writes the supported, permitted data to Health Connect.
- Other apps may read that data if they support the relevant Health Connect categories and have their own permissions.
Google describes Health Connect as an Android sharing layer for health and fitness data. It does not force every app to share or receive every type of measurement.

How to enable Health Connect
Use this setup path:
- Update the Wyze app from Google Play.
- Check for a firmware update for the Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan.
- Open Wyze and select the Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan.
- Open the scale’s settings.
- Tap Authorize 3rd Party Apps.
- Select Health Connect.
- Complete Android’s authorization prompts.
- Allow the data categories you want Wyze to share.
- Take a new measurement.
- Open Health Connect, or an authorized health app, and check for the new record.
Wyze’s troubleshooting instructions specifically recommend updating the app and firmware, re-enabling the integration when necessary, and taking another measurement afterward. Health Connect must be installed or available through your Android device’s software, depending on the phone and Android version.
What data transfers?
Wyze advertises the BodyScan as measuring or reporting weight, body-fat percentage, lean body mass, BMI, muscle mass, muscle-mass percentage, visceral fat, basal metabolic rate, bone mass, metabolic age, protein, body-water percentage, and heart rate.
However, Wyze’s public documentation does not provide a complete field-by-field list of which of those measurements are written to Health Connect. The safe conclusion is that Health Connect integration exists, but you should not buy the scale on the assumption that all 13 advertised body-composition metrics will appear there.

The receiving app matters too. Even when Wyze writes a category to Health Connect, another Android app may not read that category. Google notes that data availability depends on the choices and capabilities of each third-party app.
Does Wi-Fi make syncing automatic?
Not necessarily. The BodyScan supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and Wyze says measurements can be recorded without the phone being nearby. But the available BodyScan instructions do not establish that Health Connect exports always happen immediately in every Wi-Fi-only situation.
For the most reliable first test, open the Wyze app, connect to the scale, and take a fresh measurement. Some Wyze community users also report that keeping Bluetooth connected and the scale open in the Wyze app helps Health Connect synchronization. That is user-reported troubleshooting advice, not a universal requirement confirmed by Wyze.

The BodyScan quick-start guide likewise advises connecting the scale to the Wyze app before measuring so the result is recorded to the correct profile.
Health Connect versus Google Fit
Older or general Wyze documentation refers to Google Fit, including Wyze’s Google Fit support article. That wording should not be treated as the definitive current answer for the BodyScan.
The newer BodyScan-specific support page, updated June 22, 2026, names Health Connect as the Android integration. Google Fit is a separate or older integration path; Health Connect is Android’s permissions and data-sharing layer. Google Health is also not the same product as Health Connect: Google Health can use health data supplied through connected services, while Health Connect manages sharing between supported Android apps.

Troubleshooting missing data
Health Connect is not listed
- Update the Wyze app.
- Install any available BodyScan firmware update.
- Confirm that you selected the BodyScan rather than another Wyze scale.
- Open the scale settings and look for Authorize 3rd Party Apps.
- Close and reopen Wyze.
- Restart the phone if the option remains absent.
If you are following a Google Fit guide, switch to the current BodyScan-specific instructions. Menu availability can also depend on completed device setup and Android software.
The integration is enabled, but no measurement appears
- Open Health Connect and confirm Wyze has permission to write the desired data categories.
- Open the Wyze app and connect to the scale.
- Take a new measurement and wait for Wyze to finish recording it.
- Check Health Connect’s data history.
- Confirm the destination app is allowed to read Health Connect and supports the relevant data type.
- If necessary, remove the Wyze integration, choose Unauthorize, then enable it again and take another measurement.
The result is assigned to the wrong person
In a household with multiple profiles, similar body weights can cause an incorrect assignment. Connect the scale to the Wyze app belonging to the person who is measuring. Check that each profile has accurate age, height, and other personal information.

Body-composition readings require bare-foot contact. Shoes, poor contact, an incorrect profile, weight-only mode, or pregnancy mode can prevent those readings. It is also possible that Wyze exports only certain categories to Health Connect, or that the receiving app does not support the missing categories.

What the BodyScan adds
The BodyScan is a separate, more advanced variant of the Wyze Scale Ultra. It adds a handle and eight electrodes across the hands and feet for handle-based, segmental body analysis. Wyze also lists a 4.3-inch full-color TFT display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and advertised battery life of up to nine months. The product was introduced on November 11, 2025, according to Wyze’s announcement.
Wyze’s product page displayed the BodyScan variant at $119.98 when checked on August 18, 2026. Prices and availability can change, so treat that figure as a dated price signal rather than a permanent price.
Is it a good Android purchase?
The BodyScan is a reasonable fit if you want a scale that can feed at least supported measurements into Health Connect, already use the Wyze app, and value its handle, display, Wi-Fi capability, and multiple-user features.

It is a weaker choice if you require a guaranteed phone-free export, need every advertised metric in Health Connect, or depend on an Android app that does not read Health Connect. If you mainly want weight and general trend tracking, the less expensive standard Wyze Scale Ultra may be sufficient; Wyze lists it separately from the BodyScan and it does not include the BodyScan’s handle-based hardware.
Accuracy and safety limitations
Body-composition results from the BodyScan are estimates based on bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), not medical diagnoses. Wyze warns that readings can differ from professional medical instruments. For useful trend tracking, measure under similar conditions—such as at a consistent time and with similar hydration and clothing—rather than treating one reading as definitive.
The quick-start material also cautions that pregnant users and people with certain medical conditions should treat body-fat readings only as reference information. Follow advice from a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
