Di solito no: la maggior parte delle TV LG non ha un pulsante fisico dedicato al ripristino di fabbrica. Il comando sul televisore, se presente, serve in genere ad accendere o spegnere la TV e a eseguire controlli di base. Per riportarla alle impostazioni iniziali si usa normalmente il menu; se non hai il telecomando, puoi provare LG ThinQ, ma solo se la TV è compatibile e raggiungibile sulla rete.
Il pulsante sotto la TV LG serve per il reset?
Non necessariamente: non confondere il pulsante fisico con un tasto Reset. Su molti modelli il comando è sotto il bordo dello schermo, vicino al logo, ma posizione e funzioni cambiano secondo il modello. Può accendere o spegnere il televisore e, su alcuni apparecchi, permettere controlli essenziali. LG segnala che non tutti i modelli hanno lo stesso interruttore o la stessa disposizione (accensione senza telecomando; modelli con interruttore di alimentazione).
Se la TV è montata a parete, il comando potrebbe essere difficile da raggiungere. Consulta il manuale del modello e non premere o spingere sul pannello, soprattutto se è OLED.
Come ripristinare una TV LG alle impostazioni di fabbrica
Con il telecomando, apri Impostazioni (icona a ingranaggio), poi Tutte le impostazioni e cerca Ripristina impostazioni iniziali. Il percorso varia in base all’anno e alla versione di webOS:

- Molti modelli webOS recenti: Impostazioni → Tutte le impostazioni → Generale → Sistema → Ripristina impostazioni iniziali.
- Alcuni modelli, incluso webOS 5.0: Impostazioni → Tutte le impostazioni → Supporto → Ripristina impostazioni iniziali.
- Modelli più vecchi: la voce può trovarsi in Impostazioni → Tutte le impostazioni → Generale → Ripristina impostazioni iniziali.
Questi sono percorsi indicativi, non un menu universale. LG documenta differenze tra modelli e versioni: se non trovi la voce, cerca “Ripristina impostazioni iniziali” nelle sezioni Sistema, Supporto o Generale, oppure consulta il manuale del tuo TV. Vedi le guide ufficiali di LG Italia e LG USA per versione e anno.
Se compare una scelta tra ripristinare tutto e ripristinare tutto tranne le impostazioni di rete, leggi attentamente le opzioni mostrate: la seconda conserva la configurazione di rete, ma non è disponibile su tutti i televisori. Conferma solo quando sei pronto a riconfigurare la TV.

Cosa cancella il ripristino di fabbrica
Il ripristino iniziale non è un semplice riavvio: cancella dati e preferenze. Potresti dover reinstallare o riconfigurare app, accedere di nuovo ai servizi di streaming e reinserire password. Possono essere rimossi account, impostazioni di immagine e audio, canali e altri dati salvati; un ripristino completo può cancellare anche le impostazioni Wi-Fi e cablate. Dopo il processo la TV si riavvia e torna alla configurazione iniziale. Prima di confermare, annota la password Wi-Fi e assicurati di poter accedere di nuovo ai tuoi account. È una scelta sensata, per esempio, prima di vendere o cedere il televisore.

Il pulsante fisico può aiutarti ad accendere la TV, ma normalmente non sostituisce i comandi necessari per avviare il reset dal menu. Se il televisore è già configurato e connesso, prova l’app LG ThinQ:

- Apri LG ThinQ sullo smartphone e aggiungi un dispositivo, seguendo la procedura di associazione per la TV LG.
- Se l’abbinamento riesce, usa il telecomando virtuale per aprire Impostazioni e raggiungere la voce di ripristino.
ThinQ non è una soluzione garantita: può servire che la TV sia già collegata alla rete e che telefono e televisore siano sulla stessa rete. Inoltre, se il controllo o l’accensione tramite rete non erano stati configurati, l’app potrebbe non riuscire a collegarsi o ad accendere la TV. LG descrive i limiti e l’uso dell’app nella sua guida al ripristino.
Se l’app non funziona, prova un telecomando LG compatibile o un universale che supporti le funzioni necessarie. Verifica la compatibilità con il codice esatto del televisore: le funzioni Magic Remote variano a seconda del modello (guida LG al Magic Remote). Se la TV non risponde ai comandi o non arriva alla schermata operativa, consulta il manuale o contatta il supporto LG, invece di provare combinazioni di tasti trovate per altri modelli.

Se il problema riguarda soltanto immagine o audio
Non serve cancellare tutto se devi correggere solo una regolazione. Cerca il comando Ripristina nel menu Immagine per la modalità d’immagine attiva, oppure nel menu Audio per il profilo audio attivo. Questi ripristini parziali sono preferibili al reset di fabbrica quando il problema è limitato a colori, luminosità, volume o impostazioni sonore. I nomi esatti possono variare secondo il modello.
Se la TV chiede un PIN
Segui la procedura LG per reimpostare il PIN o la password del tuo modello prima di avviare il ripristino. Alcune guide LG USA riportano 0000 come PIN predefinito quando non ne è stato impostato uno, ma non è una soluzione universale: impostazioni, modello e area geografica possono cambiare il comportamento. Se non funziona, non continuare a indovinare codici: consulta il supporto ufficiale per il modello e la regione.

Se la TV è bloccata o non mostra il menu
Per un blocco temporaneo, spegni e riaccendi la TV con il telecomando o con il comando fisico. Scollegare e ricollegare l’alimentazione può essere un tentativo di riavvio, ma non equivale al ripristino di fabbrica e non cancella normalmente account, app o preferenze.
Se il televisore continua a non rispondere, il reset dal menu potrebbe non essere accessibile. Un tasto di accensione non diventa per questo un tasto Reset, e una procedura software non ripara un eventuale guasto hardware. Identifica il modello sull’etichetta o nel manuale e usa le istruzioni LG specifiche. Evita combinazioni casuali di tasti, che possono riferirsi al telecomando o a un modello diverso. Nota anche che Home + Indietro sul Magic Remote riguarda la reinizializzazione o nuova registrazione del telecomando, non il reset della TV (istruzioni LG).
