Short answer: The BUYDEEM K156 automates some of brewing—selectable strength, hot-water temperature presets, and a basket designed to separate leaves or grounds from the finished drink. It can make tea preparation more repeatable, but it does not choose the right ingredients, quantities, or settings for you, and its coffee performance should not be assumed to match a dedicated coffee maker. One important capacity caveat: the vessel holds 1.5 liters, while BUYDEEM recommends brewing no more than 750 ml for optimal flavor.
What the K156 does—and what it does not
The K156 is a 1.5-liter glass tea and coffee maker with a removable brewing basket and controls for brewing strength, water heating, and keeping a drink warm. BUYDEEM describes its Brew mode as a steam-brewing system: steam rises through the basket, sprays the tea leaves or coffee grounds, and the brewed liquid drips into the kettle. The basket is intended to keep the ingredients separate from the drink after brewing.
That arrangement can reduce the need to watch a steeping timer and may help prevent leaves or grounds from sitting in the finished beverage. It does not guarantee ideal flavor or eliminate bitterness, weak extraction, or astringency. Those depend on the ingredient, quantity, water, selected mode, and the machine’s cycle. The strength controls give you a repeatable starting point; they are not a substitute for a beverage-specific recipe.

The U.S. product listing identifies the appliance as the K156. BUYDEEM’s global page uses “K1563” in some feature copy, so regional documentation may not be consistent. Check the model and operating instructions supplied with the appliance you buy.

How to use it
- Add water to the kettle, staying within the limits in the supplied instructions.
- Put tea leaves or coffee grounds in the brewing basket and close the lid securely.
- For brewed tea or coffee, use the basket and select Brew mode, then choose a strength level.
- Press Start/Brew and let the cycle finish before serving.
For hot water without the steam-brewing cycle, the U.S. listing gives four temperature choices: 175°F, 185°F, 200°F, and 212°F. These let you repeat a chosen heating setting, but the machine does not provide a complete recipe system that determines the best temperature and dose for every tea or coffee. The U.S. listing differs from a global-page reference that includes 140°F instead of 185°F. U.S. buyers should follow the instructions for their unit rather than assume regional listings are identical.
Strength, temperature, and warming
BUYDEEM describes six flavor or strength levels. The product information does not define the exact dose, time, or extraction parameters behind each level. You can use the same setting and ingredient quantity to make batches more consistent, but you may need to adjust them to your taste. Change one variable at a time—such as dose or strength—so you can tell what made a difference.
After brewing, the K156 is described as automatically keeping the drink warm for two hours at 158°F. BUYDEEM also describes a manual keep-warm mode for up to eight hours at the same temperature. Its stated activation sequence is to hold the 212°F button for two seconds, then press Start. The eight-hour mode is not the normal automatic setting. Warming can be useful when serving over time, but it should not be confused with preserving freshly brewed flavor; delicate tea may be better soon after brewing.

Tea is the clearest use case
The separation basket and strength selection address common tea-making frustrations: keeping a steep from running long and repeating a brew without timing every step. BUYDEEM says its steam-brewing method suits oolong, white, pu-erh, black, dark, and floral teas. That is manufacturer guidance, not an independent brewing standard or guarantee of results.
For delicate green tea, light oolong, or a specialty tea where you want to control steep time, agitation, and water contact closely, a conventional kettle and infuser may offer more flexibility. The K156 can heat water at a selected preset, but its Brew cycle and basket do not give the same hands-on control as traditional steeping. BUYDEEM says the steam-spray effect requires both Brew mode and the brewing basket; selecting another function will not produce that process.
Coffee compatibility is not the same as a dedicated coffee brewer
The product is marketed for coffee and accepts grounds in its basket. That makes it useful for someone who wants one appliance for tea, hot water, and occasional coffee. But the available product information does not establish that the K156 matches a dedicated drip machine, pour-over setup, espresso machine, or pod brewer in extraction quality. It does not provide independent measurements or comparative tasting results that would support such a claim.

If coffee is your priority, consider whether you need a familiar drip workflow, espresso, pods, or precise pour-over control. The K156 should not be treated as a replacement for those methods simply because it can brew with coffee grounds.

The 1.5-liter figure describes the vessel capacity. BUYDEEM states that the maximum brewing capacity for optimal flavor is 750 ml. That difference matters if you are buying the K156 to make a large pot of brewed tea or coffee: do not assume you can brew 1.5 liters at a time and get the same result. The larger vessel may still be useful for heating water, but brewed output is a smaller batch by the manufacturer’s guidance.
Cleaning, glass care, and safe use
The removable, single-layer basket and stainless-steel filter are intended to make cleanup more straightforward, but leaves and grounds still need to be removed and the basket rinsed. Coffee residue and oils can call for more thorough cleaning than tea residue. Do not assume parts are dishwasher-safe unless the manual for your unit explicitly says so.

BUYDEEM warns against pouring boiling water into a cold glass kettle or rinsing a hot kettle with cold water, both of which can expose the glass to thermal shock. Stop using the appliance if the glass is cracked. The company also describes the touch panel as usable with wet hands; that is not evidence that the whole appliance can be immersed or treated as waterproof. Follow the supplied manual for operation and cleaning, and do not interpret one-touch operation or keep-warm behavior as permission to leave the appliance unattended indefinitely.

Treat discounts as temporary and check the seller’s current price, stock, shipping, returns, warranty, and regional electrical specifications before buying. At roughly that price, the K156’s value depends on whether you will use its combination of repeatable tea brewing, hot-water presets, separation, and keep-warm functions. It is most compelling for tea drinkers who want less timer-watching and also appreciate having hot water and occasional coffee in the same appliance. A conventional temperature-control kettle plus an infuser is a simpler fit if you mainly want hot water and flexible manual steeping. Choose a dedicated coffee brewer if coffee is the priority, and an espresso or pod system if that is the style you drink.

- Bitter or astringent drink: Try a lower strength or smaller dose, and serve sooner rather than relying on extended warming. Confirm that the basket is correctly positioned and that you are using Brew mode for the intended separation process.
- No steam-spray effect: BUYDEEM says the effect requires Brew mode and the brewing basket. Check both before troubleshooting further.
- Unexpected temperature options: Regional listings conflict on at least one preset. Use the controls and manual supplied with your specific unit rather than relying on another region’s product page.
There is no independent performance testing in the product information cited here, so claims about superior taste, extraction, speed, noise, or long-term durability should be treated cautiously. The strongest case for the K156 is convenience and repeatability—not proven superiority over appliances designed for one specific brewing method.
