Dyson’s Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 and HP2 De-NOx launched in India in November 2025 at ₹56,900 and ₹68,900, respectively. On the Dyson India listings checked for this article, the HP1 was in stock while the HP2 was marked out of stock, so a product listing does not necessarily mean it can be ordered today. Both combine air purification and room heating with fan airflow; neither is an air conditioner.
India price and availability
The Dyson India product pages list the HP1 (model HP11) at ₹56,900, inclusive of taxes, and the HP2 De-NOx (model HP12) at ₹68,900. The latest listed status available for this article showed the HP1 in stock and the HP2 as “Currently out of stock.” Inventory can change, so check the official listing or an authorised Dyson retailer before making plans to buy.
Dyson also displays 24-month no-cost EMI illustrations of about ₹2,371 per month for the HP1 and ₹2,871 for the HP2. These are financing examples, not reduced prices; eligibility and terms depend on the lender, card and promotion.
Dyson launched both models in India in November 2025, with launch coverage dated November 7. That launch date is distinct from current purchaseable stock. Gadgets 360’s launch report covered the announcement and launch pricing.

Specifications and claims come from the respective HP1 and HP2 De-NOx Dyson India product pages. The manufacturer’s stated coverage and filter-efficiency figures are not guarantees of a particular result in every home.
What the HP2’s De-NOx filter adds
The HP2’s main distinction is its K-Carbon filter, impregnated with potassium carbonate. Dyson says it adsorbs 50% more nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) than regular activated carbon under the company’s specified comparison test. Dyson’s footnote describes a 3m³ chamber test at fan speed 10, compared with regular activated carbon at Fraunhofer WKI under method TM-003387. Treat that as a manufacturer’s laboratory claim, not a promise that every room will see a 50% reduction.
NO₂ levels and the benefit of filtration depend on the source, ventilation, room size, cooking habits, airflow and filter condition. The HP2 may be more relevant in a home with gas cooking or other combustion sources, but a purifier does not eliminate the source. Use an externally vented kitchen hood where possible, ventilate appropriately and keep combustion appliances maintained and safely vented.

Its claim is based on third-party full-machine testing under GB/T 18801-2022 conditions. The catalytic component is distinct from the HEPA+K-Carbon filter, which still requires periodic replacement. Controlled-chamber results do not guarantee identical performance in a lived-in room.

Filtration figures are not whole-room guarantees
Dyson describes the HP1 as having a sealed HEPA H13-grade system and says it captures 99.95% of pollutants as small as 0.1 microns. The HP2 page also states 99.95% filtration down to 0.1 microns and cites ISO 29463 for filtration efficiency. These figures describe filter performance under specified conditions; they do not by themselves tell you how quickly the appliance will lower PM2.5 in your room.
Room-cleaning results also depend on room layout and volume, placement, fan setting, air mixing, doors and windows, and how much pollution is entering. Dyson gives both models a stated coverage of 81m³ using its POLAR-based specification. Consider that a manufacturer’s rating, not a universal guarantee for a large open-plan space or a room with substantial air leakage. A filter-efficiency percentage is also not a substitute for a clean-air delivery rate when comparing how quickly different purifiers can clean a room.
Both models use activated-carbon-based filtration for gases and odours, but gas removal varies by compound, concentration, humidity, airflow and filter age. The HP2’s added NO₂ and formaldehyde features are specific claims; they should not be read as evidence that it removes every indoor gas equally well.
Heating is real; cooling means moving air
Both appliances can heat a room by projecting warm airflow. Dyson says the HP2 can heat a 35m³ room under its stated test method. That is a specific test claim, not a guarantee for every Indian home: heating depends on room volume, insulation, ceiling height, outdoor temperature, open doors and windows, heat loss and the selected temperature and airflow.

“Cool” refers to fan airflow, which can make a person feel cooler by moving air across the skin. It does not use a compressor to lower the room temperature like an air conditioner. If you need air conditioning rather than a fan, neither model is the right choice.
Controls, sensing and connectivity
Both models offer automatic pollutant sensing, an LCD display for air-quality information, a remote control, MyDyson app control and scheduling. Dyson also describes personalised air-quality reports and compatible voice-service support. The app’s availability and functions depend on the market and connected services; Dyson’s HP2 India page lists a compatible mobile device, Wi-Fi or mobile data, Bluetooth 4.0, and at least iOS 15 or Android 8 as requirements. Voice-service availability can vary by region and change over time, so check the current app and product listing rather than assuming a particular assistant works in India.
App or Wi-Fi problems can interrupt remote monitoring and control. The included remote and on-device controls provide alternatives for basic operation.

The HP1 is listed at 770mm high and 5.26kg, with a 1.8m cable and 350-degree oscillation. Dyson’s page lists a 220mm width and a 248mm base/length dimension. The HP2 is about 764–765mm high, has a 248mm base diameter, weighs about 5.55kg and has a 1.8m cord; it also oscillates up to 350 degrees. Dyson lists more than 290 litres per second of air projection for the HP2.

Dyson’s India pages use mixed labels such as “length,” “width” and “diameter” for dimensions, so use the manufacturer’s wording when checking fit rather than treating every measurement as directly comparable. Allow space for airflow and oscillation, and place the unit where it can circulate air without being blocked by furniture or curtains.
Which model should you buy?
- Choose the HP2 De-NOx if you value its enhanced NO₂ adsorption and formaldehyde-destruction claims, particularly in a home with combustion sources, and are comfortable paying ₹12,000 more than the HP1’s listed price. First confirm that it is actually in stock through an authorised Indian channel. Continue to prioritise source control and ventilation.
- Choose the HP1 if you want a lower-priced combination of particulate filtration, carbon filtration, heating and fan airflow, and do not have a strong need for the HP2’s additional gas-filtration features. It was the model listed in stock on Dyson India when checked for this article.
- Choose neither if you expect compressor air conditioning, need the lowest possible operating cost, or want a dedicated purifier selected primarily for high clean-air delivery in a large or open room. Also reconsider if genuine replacement filters are hard to obtain or if cooking smoke is best addressed first with source ventilation.
Maintenance and cost of ownership
The filters are not lifetime components. Dyson recommends replacing the HP2 HEPA+K-Carbon filter about every 12 months based on 12 hours of daily use; actual life varies with pollution, dust, cooking, smoking and operating hours. The HP1 likewise uses a replaceable filter. The display or app can notify users when replacement is due. Check the current Indian price and availability of genuine replacement filters before buying; no verified replacement-filter price is included here.
Also account for electricity use. Heating mode can consume substantially more power than fan-only purification, but a reliable running-cost estimate needs verified power figures, hours of use and your local tariff. No estimate is supplied here. Dyson says the heater has automatic cut-out switches for tipping or overheating and no exposed heating element; these are manufacturer-described safety features, not an independent safety certification.
Before purchase, check warranty and service access for your location, replacement-filter availability, and whether the product is sold through an authorised channel. The initial price alone does not capture ownership cost.
