The Nintendo Switch 2 and Ninja CREAMi were featured as deals during Cyber Week 2025, but that headline is not evidence either offer is still available. The Switch 2’s $449.99 Mario Kart World bundle was a reported, temporary $50 markdown from its $499.99 list price. Nintendo’s U.S. prices and bundle options have since changed; the Ninja CREAMi’s reported $100 price was also a past promotion, not a verified current offer. Here’s how to judge each purchase on its real price and usefulness.

The Switch 2 deal was real—but it was a December 2025 promotion
The headline refers to a December 6, 2025 deal roundup. It reported the Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with Mario Kart World at $449.99, $50 below the bundle’s $499.99 price. Nintendo’s original U.S. pricing set the standalone console at $449.99 and the game bundle at $499.99. The reported promotion therefore put the bundle at the standalone console’s regular price.
That was a meaningful saving for someone who wanted the game, but it should not be mistaken for an ongoing price. The available evidence identifies the Cyber Week price; it does not establish that it was available at every retailer, whether stock was uniform, or what conditions applied to any particular listing. Nor should the old price be used as proof of a current discount.

Nintendo’s official U.S. Switch 2 page lists the standalone system at $449.99 MSRP and the Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99 MSRP. Those are suggested retail prices, not guarantees of current stock or the price at every seller.
How to compare the current Switch 2 packages

Nintendo announced its Choose Your Game Bundle in May 2026. The eligible titles named in the announcement are Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Pokopia. Nintendo says the $499.99 package can save up to $29.99 compared with buying the console and chosen game separately. That is a maximum, not a guaranteed saving at every retailer: compare the bundle with the actual price of the game you want. The included game is a digital code, so it is not equivalent to getting a physical game copy.
The offer is limited-time and subject to participating retailers’ dates and inventory. Check the listing for its precise contents and expiration terms. Nintendo also notes that physical and digital prices for newer Switch 2-exclusive games can differ; its pricing guidance explains that distinction.

- Buy: You want the console now, and can get it at or below MSRP from a reputable retailer. A bundle is stronger value if you already planned to buy its included game.
- Wait: You own a Switch you are happy with, do not need a new system soon, or are holding out for a deeper discount. The historic $449.99 bundle price is not proof that it will recur.
- Skip: The purchase only looks appealing because a listing calls it a sale, or it adds accessories you do not need, carries a marketplace markup, or has unclear return and warranty terms.
Before checkout, confirm whether the game is digital or physical, who actually sells the item, what the return policy and warranty cover, and whether shipping, tax, membership, or a region-specific code changes the total. A reliable console at MSRP may be a better buy than a seemingly cheaper third-party listing with uncertain terms.

The Ninja CREAMi: useful for planners, not instant dessert
“Ninja CREAMi” covers multiple models, so the product name alone is not enough to judge a deal. Programs, container sizes, included pints, and compatibility vary. A May 30, 2026 deal report put the CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 at $100. That is a historical price signal, not a verified August 2026 offer. The evidence here does not establish a current price, exact listing, or stock status. Check the Ninja product pages and the manual for the exact model before comparing prices or buying extra containers.
The CREAMi’s appeal is making small batches of frozen desserts from a base you prepare and freeze ahead of time. Depending on the model and recipe, users can make treats such as ice cream, sorbet, gelato-style desserts, milkshakes, or protein-oriented recipes. It is not an instant ice-cream machine: the base generally needs advance freezing, and the controls and required preparation should be checked in that model’s manual.
- Prepare the base in the container approved for your model, observing its fill markings and recipe guidance.
- Freeze it for the time specified in that model’s instructions.
- Fit the container and run the appropriate program.
- If the result needs adjustment, use only the re-spin or mix-in directions provided for the model and recipe.
- Clean removable parts as directed in the manual.
Texture and preparation depend on the recipe and the machine’s instructions; do not assume every mixture, fill level, program, or pint works across the range. In particular, verify container compatibility before buying replacements. Extra pints can help you prepare multiple flavors in advance, but add to the cost and take up freezer room.

Does a CREAMi save money?
Possibly, for a household that uses it regularly—but a discount on the machine does not guarantee savings. Compare the cost of ingredients and replacement containers with the store-bought desserts you would otherwise purchase. A useful estimate is:

Effective cost per homemade pint = ingredients and consumables + a share of the machine cost + replacement-container costs.
Usage frequency, portion size, freezer and counter space, and whether the household likes its recipes all affect the result. Ingredient control can help people pursue particular dietary preferences, but it does not automatically make a recipe healthier. Someone who buys ice cream occasionally may spend less simply buying a tub; a frequent user who values customized small batches may get more from the machine.
Buy, wait, or skip the CREAMi?
- Buy: You regularly make frozen desserts, have room to store frozen bases, and find a verified price attractive for the exact model and included containers.
- Wait: The price is close to the model’s usual street price, or you need to confirm container availability, model features, or return terms.
- Skip: You want dessert on demand, have little freezer space, will use it only occasionally, or expect it to work like a conventional churner without preparation.
Compare it with a traditional ice-cream maker if you prefer that workflow, or a blender if general kitchen versatility matters more. They are alternatives, not guaranteed substitutes: do not assume identical texture or preparation without comparing specific models.
